I participated in the New Years Eve yacht cruise, which included all you can drink, eat, party favors, and champagne toast. I was very disappointed with the experience. As a designated driver, I was hoping all you can eat actually meant there would be decent amount of food available. However, patrons were given one plateful served at the staff’s discretion. I was absolutely shocked when we were all served ¼ of a chicken breast. I was starving the entire night because of how small the portion sizes were(and I am only 120lbs). The experience on the yacht top desk was nice. But, we were also disappointed when champagne was never provided since that was also included in the package. The trip itself was worth a one time experience(which could have been better elsewhere for the price).

I reserved the Musette for my wedding, I was very happy with the decoration although it was not done as I had requested. The food was amazing cant complain there, but with the same token I’m extremely upset with the Owner of the Musette. She was taking our money envelopes from our guest instead of the guest putting them in the box I had for it. The box was in the second floor near the bar which it should have been in the first floor. The money went missing the box they were suppose to be in was open and nothing in it. The box was taken down by the bartender who was on the second floor not by one of my guest like the Owner of the Musette claims. I was in my honeymoon and she called my daughter and told her that they looked and did not find anything and that, that was not her problem. I recently went back to work to be told by my guest that the owner was rude and had an attitude. I have decoration that I spent money on left over there and I don’t even want to go because I’m so upset. I do not recommend this Charter to no one. I can get good food and decoration anywhere else. A bride has an image of her wedding and she picks her venue with those images and how she feels it would look. I believe if you want water in your vases for your orchids you should have that. That’s why she has that kind of business is not the Owner of the venue image or idea.

I used to take this cruise every visit to ft. lauderdale. i was sad to hear that peter had passed. he originally ran the charter events. when i learned that one happened to be timed with my visit, i couldn’t wait to experience it again. unfortunately, it wasn’t the same. the trip was still worth the travel through the canals, but the whole tone of the experience had changed. there are now«strippers» who participate. not that you can’t enjoy a good show, but it had a negative impact on the experience. additionally, it just didn’t have the same entertainment or the same quality of people. my hope is that this recent cruise was an exception and not the norm. at least they pour a good drink and you get to see some amazing homes. worth it for that alone.

One of the best of the many Charter Boats located in Fort Lauderdale, owned and operated by Carfi Enterprises, with a 400 passenger capacity and being 120 feet in length and all of three decks high. It is regularly chartered out for weddings, dinner parties, corporate events, anniversaries and host charter of special events such as the Winterfest, Halloween Party Cruise, 4th of July Party Cruise, New Year’s Eve Party Cruise, Lauderdale’s famous Boat Parade, and one my favorites(excuse me for blushing), the infamous all Gay Tea Party Cruises. I’ve been on a couple of the regular party cruises and several of the Gay Tea Party Cruises, and on all occasions and for all events, have always found staff exceptional polite, helpful, friendly, accommodating and the on board facilities to be some of the better of the charter boats. What I really like about the Musette is that it is an honest three decks in height. The first deck provides good clean air conditioned dinning facilities, the second deck is great for indoor dancing, partying or additional seating and the top deck, great for viewing the canals, luxury homes, other boats and the beauty of one of the most beautiful, lovely cities of the world, Fort Lauderdale. Oh, and yes, those Gay Tea Party Cruises with the rainbow flags flying can really be a wild adventure of a time when hundreds of party minded gays come aboard, dancing, shouting, drinking(no, tea is not served at Gay Tea Parties) and waving at those they see along the way and on other boats. It’s also great to see the others waving back, cheering the party on and blasting their boat horns in nice manner of party acknowlegment, praise and general applause.
