The Sparkman & Stephens designed Stevens 47, ‘Moment,’ who’s history includes a circumnavigation of the world will take you on a day, evening, or week-​long sail in Fort Lauderdale and the South Florida vicinity. She has three staterooms, two heads, a full galley and a tender named «Tary» to carry you ashore. Captain Chris will take care of the vessel as you participate or simply soak up the soothing sights and sail along in the Moment. Chris is a knowlegeable teacher and can provide a range of experiences including simple pointers, cruising and offshore sailing lessons, or restoration and vessel maintenance practices.

Take a 4 or 6hr Cruise through Fort Lauderdale’s beautiful waterways lined with megayachts and mega estates and poke out into the Atlantic Ocean for a couple hours to get a taste of sailing along the beachfront. Overnight and longer sailing charters include destinations such as Palm Beach, Miami, Florida Keys, and the Bahamas!

Moment Sailing Adventures became alive during the refit and restoration of the 1981 47′ ‘Moment’ — a sailing yacht that has proven herself when she circumnavigated the globe in the late 90s. She is now available in Provincetown, Cape Cod vicinity (summers) and Fort Lauderdale and South Florida (winters).

O.U.P.V. licensed and American Sailing Association Instructor certified, Chris will deliver your boat soundly or make your day /​evening /​vacation aboard Moment enjoyable.

Captain Chris grew up around boats, from a tiny sunfish on a lake early on to racing to Bermuda on a 40′ sloop after college. in 2009, Chris began chartering in prime destinations such as New York Harbor, New England, the British Virgin Islands and Greece. In 2013, Chris left New York for Annapolis to begin a refit on Moment, which is now traveling the East Coast and ready for you to step aboard and sai!
