Established in 2003.

Coming into this business from a prior career in real estate appraising, owner Juan Pablo Ruiz (John) bought J & S Towing from his brother in 2003. With this small company, he began his towing venture with two salvage auction clients; a few individual buyers; and couple small dealers. — a total of 4 steady clients. Today J & S Towing Services and Transport, Inc has more than 15 long-​term clients, and many one-​time clients. In 2006 he bought A.B.Y Towing and took over one more truck to add to his fleet of three, and welcomed a few more clients into the fold.

I am happy with the service they provided and at a cost way lower then you would expect.
This company has a flat rate of $ 50.00 to from anywhere in Broward county to anywhere Broward county. Then I was thinking there has to be some kind of catch to that offer and to my surprise there wasn’t. They towed my truck to Hallandale Beach that’s over 30 miles
The only reason they are not getting 5 stars is because I asked them to pick up the payment from me since the truck was 3 blocks away and they said yes they would do that and an hour later they told me no they won’t so I had to walk the 3 blocks to have the money there with the truck.

I didn’t know this guys were on Unilocal otherwise I would have done this sooner. Their rates are the best, that’s why they are getting 2 starts. Unfortunately, that seems to give them power to be rude to customers and repair shops. A few months ago, I called them to pick up a customers car. When the customer Called me saying that they where not there yet, I called back the same number and got a different person who asked me for the information again. They ended up sending 2 trucks out instead of one. I got a really angry gentleman on the phone making it seem like it was my fault that they somehow did not communicate with each other. When the tow truck driver arrived with the car I offered to give him more money just because of the inconvenience that wasn’t the drivers or my fault, he was nice and declined it. In addition, I have also had multiple people complain about how they are treated by whoever it is that answers the phone in this company.
Hopefully they changed management and are better than they used to be, of course I wouldn’t know that because we used them a few months ago and stopped ever since because of how poorly they treat their customers. No matter how cheap they are, they lost mine and many other people’s business because of their horrible customer service.

I’ve used j&s a couple of times! The driver is always super professional! They are quick, and truly cared about my vehicle.
I had a car that was lowered quite extensively, they got it on the flatbed with no incident, and nothing scraped! They came totally prepared!

I was a more than apprehensive about using any towing service that didn’t come recommended by a friend. I saw all of these ads on Craigslist for a $ 50 tow but didn’t know how real it was. J&S touted themselves as the originators of the $ 50 tow anywhere in Broward, so I went with them. I was not disappointed. I called the operator and was asked basic information, to, from, and he quoted the price. $ 50. I was going from Lauderhill to West Park. Basically opposite ends of the county. I gave 4 stars because it did take about an hour and fifteen minutes for them to comeI called during that time frame and was given an eta and was told the name of my driver. Awesome and professional! The driver called when he was close. He arrived within the next ten minutes. I paid him cash, then I signed a receipt which he gave me a copy of. Then he beat me to the auto body shop I was meeting him at and I didn’t even get to give him a tip. Anyway, best experience with a tow company by far and I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks J&S!

The guy John is a complete a$&@olé! Tried to make arrangements for a tow and he was an unreasonable, unfriendly jerk. A complete waste of time so I made othr arrangements. Their trick is to say $ 50 tow anywhere, hoping for volume business. U get what u pay for.

When it comes to something as unpleasant as having to get your car towed, the last thing you want is unpleasant service. Glad that I did not receive that with these guys! They were quick to arrive and for $ 50 I have to say, extremely affordable as well as helpful. They’re my next go-​to for sure.

I have to say that not only do they have great service, they are very friendly, and affordable. I called them, they gave me an estimate right on the spot. It’s been pouring rain where I was stranded with my car. They were still able to pick it up today and bring it to my house. I have dealt with other towing companies and I have to saw this is the best by far.

I needed a tow to get my car fixed and I read the review so i call up and it was only $ 50.00 any place in Broward County. The tow truck driver was very friendly and professional with his work. He picked up the car at Holman Honda and delivered it to
my home. Said he would take 1 hour to get there and made it in 45 minutes. Will definitely use them again.

I needed a tow to get my car fixed and I read the review so i call up and it was only $ 50.00 any place in broward county. The tow truck driver was very friendly and professional with his work. I was told it would be about a half hour for the driver to show up and thats how long it took even with rush hour. If anyone needs a tow please call J & S towing you will be very happy. I will tell everyone about them.
