H2eco Land & Waterworks

It is a pleasure to recommend Marc and H2Eco! We just completed an entire renovation of our front yard, to include new driveway and new landscaping and it turned out beautiful! From start to finish Marc was professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. His passion for what he does shines through in all areas of his work and he takes pride in his jobs as if he was doing a project for himself. I had a lot of questions about materials, products, etc and Marc was an invaluable resource and he patiently and professionally walked me though all phases of the project. My neighbor even commented on how professional H2Eco was throughout the renovation. Our driveway and landscaping turned out better than we could have ever imagined and we are so pleased and appreciative of Marc and the team.

H2eco Inc just finished laying some beautiful pavers/​tile in our patio enclosure and designed an awesome landscape for the back yard with some touch ups of excellence with painting and woodwork for our storage! I highly recommend them with their awesome crew to get the job done with a perfectionists touch! The lighting he put together on the timer at night for the trees and plants is amazing as well!

We had a fantastic experience with Marc and his team from start to finish. I had 4 landscape companies provide bids for our project (significant landscaping of our front and back yards, plus lighting and some repaving and configuration changes to our driveway pavers). Marc was by far the most professional, thorough, and timely. I also liked the fact that his company could provide ALL of the services, landscape AND hardscape work. He had some great ideas on things we hadn’t considered and this bid was very competitive. The project installation went very smooth, he finished on time and on budget, and the finished product was exceptional! His communication and timeliness were great and we really had no issues whatsoever in those areas. He’s also been great about following up with small changes we wanted to make to some of the areas. They are also doing our regular maintenance and have been great with that so far also.
Overall, I would highly recommend H2eco for any size landscape/​hardscape project. We’ve done a number of landscape projects over the years and this was by far the best experience we’ve had.

Sorry to say I too have had a bad experience. Marc showed up on time for the estimate with enthusiasm, professionalism and seemingly an interest in doing the job. He promised an estimate in a few days. As I’ve been having difficulties finding any landscape/​hardscape company to following up, I was excited to work with him. It has been over a week and no return calls, emails and of course, no estimate. Very disappointed at the lack of communication and professionalism.

Unprofessional! Marc seemed very nice and seemed to know a lot about landscape design. I had just moved into a new house and needed the entire backyard done complete with lighting. He did a good job with the landscape and called his father for the electrical work. (I later found his father was not a licensed electrician)
My problem with Marc was not his initial work, but everything after. During the initial job, he failed to show up a couple of times but that’s not uncommon with landscapers and contractors in general. However after the work was done and he was paid he only showed up once for the maintenance he agreed to do. It seems he was only interested in the initial job and instead of telling me he wasn’t willing to do the monthly service, he just stopped answering when I called. Although it was unprofessional, it wasn’t exactly shocking as it can be hard to find a reliable landscape professional in S. FL. He just disappeared and never took a single call after he was paid. After a couple of weeks of trying to reach him, I moved on.
2 years later, a couple of the LED lights he installed stopped working. These were expensive and I agreed to spend the extra money because he said they had a 5 yr warrantee. After the way he handled the initial job, I didn’t bother calling him and instead called the company direct. They instructed me to go through the original contractor. I told them I hadn’t spoken to him in a couple of years and didn’t even know if he was still in business. They helped me find him and I reached out to him. To my surprise he answered and after a little awkwardness I told him not to worry about the way he handled the job a couple of years ago. I told him I understand things happen and just wanted to warrantee the lights that weren’t working anymore. We set up a time to swap the lights out and when the time came, he did not show. I called and called and he will not answer for me once again.
It seems Marc wants the big initial design jobs and that’s it. When it comes to follow up or any kind of customer service after the job is paid for, he won’t even take the call. I don’t write too many reviews, but I felt compelled to tell my story in hopes it helps others make a good choice. Marc did a pretty good job with the initial work, but don’t expect any service whatsoever thereafter.
