«Funky Flamingo 2nds» is a resale shop/​thrift store for gently used home furnishings just opened in November 2011. It’s wholly owned by H.O.M.E.S., Inc. — a Florida non-​profit corporation and 501©(3) tax-​exempt charitable organization, located in Ft. Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida, established in 1998. Our agency Mission is providing quality community & economic development for disadvantaged local residents & neighborhoods. Our work includes development and renovation of affordable homes for lower income working families, neighborhood redevelopment, & supportive housing and job programs for aged-​out foster youth. Proceeds from the store will support the charity’s programs and projects.
