And I follow Eldy wherever he’s at — he’s that GREAT! I travel a lot for work and get my hair blown out while on the road … I always come back to Eldy with the same line; «Eldy, no one does it better than you do!» He is my hair’s James Bond! :) Not only is he a great blow dry artist, I also constantly receive compliments on my color & cut. Eldy is a true professional through and through — plus he’s fun & sassy so time flies when you’re with him. I really love this FG salon & day spa Eldy is working from now — nice people & great vibe! Medi is the most amazing hair ARTIST that I have ever met! I was so incredibly happy when my best friend found him at FG Salon. Neither of us have been happy with our hair for many years. Occasionally we would luck out, yet still, when blow-​drying or putting my hair up I would find chunks that I did not like. Not to mention, after a while, my hair went from really healthy to super unhealthy and thin. Medi is like the hair doctor. He explained that the previous person was actually brushing on bleach to my already bleached portions in turn making my hair become extremely thin and lose its life. I am very loyal and have been bouncing around trying to find a new stylist that could really nurture my hair and help its health. It’s extremely hard to find anyone like Medi who is a complete hair master. He is dedicated to taking the time to go piece by piece in order to get the most beautiful blonde result. I don’t think I realized it (after 19 years of dying my hair) that I could actually be ecstatic and WANT to keep a stack of business cards in my purse so when people compliment me– I can share my secret too! Which is why I felt it necessary to share my experience with everyone online. If you are a blonde and want to feel confident in your highlights– Medi is your man!

I highly recommend Amanda for any of your nail needs. She is a perfectionist! I am very particular and she exceeds my expectations! She’s the BEST!

My boyfriend has been coming to FG for years, I was introduced to Mehdi and finally had a chance to get my hair done with him. He is a true artist and amazing hair dresser, he is realistic and honest when it comes to what is possible with your hair. I strongly recommend him, I will be returning to Mehdi for all my hair needs.
I also mentioned school and he was nice enough to give me a student discount. My new favorite hairdresser on Earth!

Okay, typically I don“t write a negative reviews but I feel I just must. Scheduled an appt. with Medhi for haircut, color and highlights first time at the salon. He proceeds to cut my hair freestyle no real measurement to make sure, everything is in sync. he then does these random highlights which is fine if there is a method to the madness. He then proceeds to tell me he“s more like an artist. Okay what hairdresser says that about themselves. I’m like OhKAY. At that point I am stuck.,. I“m sitting there hoping for the best. First of all I wanted a half head highlights but he“s like I don’t like my customers to pay more more than they should. In my head okay this is great, WTF. long story short the worst highlights EVER! They look like zebra stripes and the most hideous color. Luckily he didn’t“t start them at the roots more of an underneath highlights hence why I didn’t see it there. A blessing in disguise because I would have lost it. Yes of course you can always go back if you are not happy but you know not worth the stress! Oh yes, at check out he proceed to scribble on a piece of paper, I typically charge this but I am going to give you a discount for your first time. Stay away from this hairdresser!!! He“s an artist lets let him work on canvas instead!

I wanted a great, modern haircut and went to see Francesca herself. She wasn’t on time, but no big deal, it happens. Her assistant shampooed my hair while she finished her client. After she had finished her client she kept me waiting in her chair for 15 more minutes while she talked to her receptionist, walked around a little and well, I don’t know what else. When she finally came to cut my hair I told her I wanted chunky layers. My hair was long, almost one length and needed body and definition. She literally started cutting my hair using huge sections. I mean one whole quadrant in one cut. I have a lot of thick hair. The only place you get that kind of cut is at Supercuts where they have only 10 minutes to cut your hair. Which, by the way, is how much time she spent actually cutting my hair. She walked away three times to talk on her cell phone, talk to the receptionist, talk to clients. Sooo unprofessional! The blow dry was horrible. I have ethnic hair. You «Do Not» blow dry the moisture out of the hair before styling because it leaves our hair frizzy. She must know that. This is South Florida. She left the back of my hair damp and frizzy and only styled the front. She cut my bangs above my brows and curled them with a round brush. It looked like I had just taken a roller out of it. I looked like a Hispanic before blow dryers were invented. $ 85 for this. When she was done I told her I wanted more layers in which she replied, «that won’t look good on you.» I told her that I had had layers before. No reply. I guess she had no more time for me. Since then I have met other hairdressers who suggest more layers. So, while I’m trying to grow out these mall bangs I just want to say, just because you own the place doesn’t mean you can be so cavalier. She is not rude in any way, but disconnected with no interest in building that relationship you try to develop in the service industry. Won’t go back.

I come straight from the beach, tangles and all and he fixes me up! The perfect ratio
of blonde and brown, I am never disapointed. I come in excited and leave looking and smelling fabulous!

I love this little gem in FTL! I moved from LA about 21 months ago and struggled to find a great, upscale salon that had great stylists and value… but I finally found one! FG is a super cute trendy salon… I go to Audra, who is simply amazing & a master stylist that does wonders, but they have a variety of great stylists to choose from! Happy salon & stylist hunting!

Fg salon blew me away literally. I live in LA and stopped in for a few services with their spa and salon. The spa is gorgeous, super tranquil and beautiful. I had an amazing blow out. The staff here was super professional and inviting. I would def recommend this salon to anyone looking for a high end hair stop in ft Lauderdale. Thanks fg salon for treating this picky LA girl on point.

I went to this salon because my husband was following one of the hairdressers from another salon that we were both going to. I wind up getting my hair done by the same stylist who does my husband, Audra. While I have had her do my hair many times, she has done a decent job-​but the cost was outrageous. 155.00 plus tip! In addition to the cost, her hours and days she works were limited.
The last three visits are what I am reviewing. They did not go well. She took a long time to do a color process because she brought her son in the salon. I had to go back a second time, because parts of my hair was orange, not blond. (Going from red to blond.)
The third and final visit was a disaster!!! My hair roots were unprocessed and the color looked dull. Plus I had another 155.00 bill to pay for. I texted the results and she said she would fix it. (On her time, of course.) I showed up when SHE wanted and I was waiting around on her. When she finally got around to me 20 minutes later, she was curt, rude, made a scene of my «complaining about my hair» at F. G. salon in front of other customers. She went on & on, about how I «always» do this to her.
I left promptly without my money, or my hair being corrected as I don’t like confrontation in public, with a crazy hairdresser. I know that the management, could care less about my business, because they let Audra make a scene without saying one word.
STAY AWAY FROM AUDRA if you go to F.G. salon.

Loved it! NICOLAS is the best. I’m from out of town and he made me feel like I was a regular and did an amazing job.

My GF a calendar/​magazine model kept telling me I need to get my hair done by her hairdresser Medhi, and took me for my birthday Present and that was 9 years ago!
Mehdi Idress who looks like «the Zohan» and I tell him I think its soo funny. He studied in Paris for 10 years and is passionate about hair and treats you soo well.
Since then Mehdi changed Salons from Echo Salon to here F&G.
I get the Best Hair Cut and Color for my Curly Hair (I once went to a different Salon to save a bit $ and paid big time for it for 6 months for my hair to grow back to normal), and learned my lesson. Medhi For Life! I come out of the salon Silky Smooth.
I have referred many of my Girlfriends to him and he has transformed their hair and worked wonders! Seriously Bad Hair and I tell them to see Mehdi and he fixes it, just amazing.
They are now loyal clients too who rave about him. He also does particularly great Blonde Highlights! His work is the Best. A few guy friends are also Mehdi for Life members, I run into them here time to time, since they get their hair cut more than me.

This was the GREATEST salon experience I have ever had in South Florida. :)
Before I proceed with my review, let me add that I have worked in salon management for over 10years, so I am extremely critical. My career has taken me down a little bit of a different path, so I no longer have the benefit working with stylists.
Over the last 5 years, I have tried different salons throughout West Palm Beach/​Fort Lauderdale and not to mention paid a ton of money only to be disappointed. After continually leaving salons broke and unsatisfied with the work they have done, I have given up hope and made sure that every time I went back to NJ I’d get my hair done. Unfortunately, it’s been a while since I have been to NJ, so I was in dire need for a haircut. Back in November, my colorist recommended I tried Nicholas and promised me I wouldn’t be disappointed. And boy was she right! Recently, when I went back to get my hair done I learned that Nicholas moved to another salon. I was determined to find him and I’m so glad I did!
Prior to my appointment with Nicholas, I decided to check out the Unilocal Reviews of FG Salon. Of course, after reading the other review for FG Salon I was REALLY skeptical. But since Nicholas recently moved to FG Salon from Ted Gibson, nothing was stopping me from going to see him. I had my appointment yesterday with Nicholas for a haircut and let me tell you I couldn’t be happier. I wouldn’t describe Nicholas as a stylist, but rather an artist. He listened to everything I wanted to achieve in a haircut and made sure that my haircut looked perfect from every angle.
The only thing you will be disappointed about is that you didn’t find Nicholas sooner! I can’t wait for my next cut!
Staff: Warm and Welcoming, Very Friendly and Outgoing.
Salon: Small, but simplicity is key. It has the «Cheers» Atmosphere. (Everyone knows your name, kinda feel). I was impressed by the warm towel they put around your neck right before they shampoo your hair! Nice touch FG SALON!
