People on here are haters, this is one of the most«laid back, let’s have a good time» type of bars. Atmosphere is great, drinks are made just right, food is delicious(especially their lunch specials), and there’s live music!!! I would recommend everyone to pass by and give it a shot because this bar hasn’t been open for 45 years for nothing!!! CHEERS!

I always have a blast here. Bartenders are cool and patrons are super friendly. Definitely one of my favorite places to go when I’m riding. Highly recommended. They pretty much have live entertainment every day. Sometimes the entertainment is indoors and sometimes it Is outdoors by the Tiki bar. Always a good time.

Moved to Florida about a year ago. My girlfriend and I made this place«cheers». Bartenders Connie and cinnamon are amazing. Recently there has been a new girl Heather who not only has a very dull personality towards her customers but denied service because my girlfriend has a international ID after she has served us several times in the past and was quite rude about it. Needless to say, never going back.

Wasn’t impressed. Next time I want to go to a biker bar, I’ll just go to a place where real bikers go. Flossies is way to generic and it seems a lot of the patrons are just«Weekend Riders».

This is one of my favorite dives and it never disappoints! If there’s not a live band then there’s always a song playing on the jukebox and someone ready to play a game of pool. The breakfast is great and the lunch is pretty good as well. Great spot to hang out and let loose with friends any day of the week!

Humble, aged, kinda-dumpy and unpretentious biker /dive bar with cheap drinks, a pool table, a juke box, indoor and outdoor seating, a generally harmless and multi-generational crowd with deep fryer type food located in view of planes landing at Fort Lauderdale airport and right up the street from the popular Crab Joint on Angler’s /Ravenswood popular with the biker /blue collar /ankle bracelet set. Various types of cookouts in the parking area and varied live music on occasion. Indoor and out of doors seating so you can escape the stale smell of Marlboro that drips from the brown ceiling tiles. Cheap drinks and beer. Attached to some sort of 2-level residential rental operation. An anachronistic bastion of counter culture rebellion in an area where this type of attitude is non-existent. Awesome. Cabeza Out!

Flossie’s is a great nook where you can find a nice cold brew and a good basket of wings done just how you like em! And I love em Garlic. Mild. Medium. Hot… Great burgers too. Oh yeah, and You can always count on hearing a good band on Sunday afternoons while you shoot a friendly game of pool.

I’ve passed this place on numerous occasions on my way for last minute work deadlines in order to catch the last call for Fedex which is about ½ a mile up the road. Many’s a time I’ve been so stressed out that the thought of a nice cold beer after a long day or two at the office almost made me stop off here for a swift one, but I’ve always had to get my butt home to the kids. Well, tonight I met a fellow Unilocaler and really close friend at the Rustic Inn Crabhouse down the street for her annual crabfeast and afterwards suggested that we take it next door to check it out, just to take one for all you Unilocalers and give this place the once over. Surprisingly, it was a pretty cool little place. Like a scaled down Lost Weekend, only with a less hipster and a lot older crowd who all seemed to know each other like family. It was like a ZZ Top convention was going on in there with more long frizzy beards that you could throw a comb at(and I guess the humidity didn’t help much either). They have two pool tables and when we were there, a live band playing classic rock. Only three beers on tap that I could see(Bud, Yuengling and — I think — Bud Light) but had other bottled beers(can’t go wrong with ordering a Heineken right?) Not the kind of place you would be ordering something exotic with fruit in it, though they have a menu that says they do serve breakfast from 7a.m. It was pretty well swept and clean for what I would call a dive bar. Smoking IS allowed indoors. The kinda place you could while away an afternoon with a bunch of good friends that you don’t need to make conversation with, shooting pool and/or sitting outside with a cold bottle of beer, watching the lunatics driving along I-95 across the way. I get the feeling that none of the guys in there tonight ever rushed anywhere a day in their lives!

Did that loud semi intoxicated guy point at me and call me a «Queer?» Well, no he didn’t, though it sure sounded like he did. Others mistook it for that and it was close enough to drop the otherwise loud jovial biker crowd into a state of dead silence with expectations of what would be, for Flossie’s, never before known acts of violence. Fact was, however, that the words spoken were in French, uttered by a couple from Quebec who, when noticing my leather attire, pointed and said«En CUIR belle,» or something close that. As the French word for leather is «cuir,» it sounded a lot like they said«queer,» but was meant as a statement complimentary to my leather attire; having absolutely nothing to do with what some at first thought was a statement concerning the possibilities of my sexual preference. Yes, Flossie’s is a «biker bar» but not a heavy biker bar. They don’t have any fights here, not even an argument, or at least none that I’ve ever heard about. It’s just a pleasant place where a bunch of fun loving, mostly elderly, as are just about all of the Harley bike riders, hang out for fun(mostly on Sunday’s), a few laid back beers and a good time. Besides, as we all know, no one would be speaking French in a heavy biker bar.

This is a biker bar, but don’t let the tough exterior fool you. the people inside are nice, polite, and friendly. They bartender was excellent and very accomodating, good people, relaxed, casual, so much better than the fake club scene, live band was ROCKIN’, free buffet… I’d definitely go back!

I stopped off here during a scooter rally. The inside looks like the bar at an Elks lodge with accents of Budweiser/NFL promotional material of 6 seasons ago. Not much to look at inside. They have an outdoor bar that is right off the highway and that’s where I spent most of my time during my visit. Everyone is very laid back and happy to let you squeeze in to order a bottle of your favorite brew. It’s near the Fort Lauderdale Airport’s Long Term parking if you know where that is, nestled beside the road that hugs the 1 – 95. Bring your thirst for cold brew and your favorite worn in pair of jeans.

I’ve been there twice. both times were good. Once on a Sunday with a live band-Maritini Band. They rocked out. Lots of bikers + a good mix of other folk. Went there after work with a friend on a Thursday, we shared two pitchers of beer. Cook came out and gave us samples of the Mexican night. He was extrememly enthusastic and the samples were good; I just couldn’t stay. Friendly bar tender. Cold draft beer.
