We specialize in daily dog walking and cat visits while parents are at work or traveling, always with a back-up sitter ready if needed. Since there’s no sense in paying our employees to sleep, instead of overnight visits we offer Almost Overnight Service which mirrors people’s daily work routine with an hour early morning walk/visit, feeding and companionship and two or three hours at dinner time into the early evening. Fetch! Pet Care is really stressing pet exercise this year as a corporate initiative and our services will reflect that with off-leash dog park group exercise, for example. We’re also very flexible and will custom design a service to suit a customer’s particular needs and desires for their special pet. We guarantee satisfaction.
History
Established in 2007.
Dan Mackey purchased this franchise of Pet! Fetch Care, Inc. in 2013. Fetch! corporate staff is located in San Francisco where Paul Mann founded the company more than a decade ago. There are more than 125 such franchises across the U.S. and Canada, all following standardized protocols and utilizing the latest technological advances in education, communication and business management.
Formerly named Fetch! Pet Care of Southeast Broward by its original owner who retired due to health reasons, Dan renamed it Fetch! Pet Care of Fort Lauderdale, servicing pet owners from southeast Fort Lauderdale to Aventura. Dan has been professionally involved with animals in the wildlife rehabilitation field for more than 30 years and has always owned dogs, birds, and other pets. He is a former magazine editor and publisher and public relations executive. His staff of trained, professional pet sitters are all experienced, some of whom have even owned their own pet care agencies.

Dan manages staff, administrates the business, communicates with clients, conducts free consultations, directs marketing, PR, advertising, and social media efforts. He also walks client’s dogs and backs up his sitters on client assignments as needed.
