Business Owner

Dr. Peter V. Matrale graduated Cum Laude from Life University, College of Chiropractic in 2002 and also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (Biological Sciences and Psychology concentration) in 1998. He is licensed by the Florida Board of Chiropractic Medicine (CH 9017) and has been a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association since 2005. In addition to his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Matrale is certified in Physiological Therapeutics and is able to administer electric muscle stimulation and other rehabilitative procedures.

Dr. Matrale has been treating residents of South Florida since 2005 and has been the president and owner of Élan Vital Healthcare Inc/​Fort Lauderdale Spine & Injury Center since 2006. The last couples of month, I had chronic pain in my sacroiliac (hip joint). At some point, I could not sleep and had to stop running (pounding) and practicing yoga (rotation)!
As a trainer, it was unacceptable to be out of service physically!
I needed help, but was not incline to check with traditional medicine to get another pill.
The electro-​stimulation combine with the cold therapy at Élan Vital Healthcare ease the pain after each session. Also, Peter M. realign my back and it feels flow is running along the spine like it has been flossed. Thank you, Trainer Nelly.

I went to Dr. Matrale with lower back pain that wouldn’t go away on its own. After several treatments I can say that the pain has been significantly reduced. Dr. Matrale is a true professional with a great bedside manner. My appointments are always on time, I have never had to wait. The office is easy to locate… right across from Holy Cross Hospital. I would definitly recommend Dr. Matrale for all your chiropractic needs!

As a neurophychologist I don’t usually believe in giving reviews on other doctors. However, I think that when you do find a physician who does particularly well in handling your issues, it is important to pass on this information.
I had two issues, my SI (Sacro-​Iliac) joint started to slide out of place and I have stenosis & narrowing of the vertebrae in my neck. Both issues are painful & usually require injections by the orthopedist. I decided that I would try going the route of the chiropractor. Dr. Matrale was close & had favorable reviews. He uses several different method of therapy geared towards each individual ailment.
I’m happy to report, as of this writing, that my SI joint is in place, the numbness in my fingers from the stenosis is gone & the pain is 75% better. I no longer require injections.
