Comfort Inn & Suites

Breakfast was excellent, but make sure you get there well before it ends. The woman who tends to breakfast breaks down 5 minutes prior to it ending. DO NOT park in front of the building if you’re expecting rain. It was so flooded, I had no way around it and my pants/​shoes were soaked. Our room was very clean, bedding also clean and comfortable. The rooms appear to have recently been updated (paint, carpet, furniture, etc.) Front desk staff upon check in and check out were very courteous and pleasant. There are coupons to many local things in the small computer room next to the reception desk. I did not use the pool or laundry services. It was a very quiet and pleasant stay. All tourist type things were within 15 minutes of driving. Several restaurants nearby. Airport is 20 – 30 minutes away depending on traffic. Great value for the accommodations and things to do at such a close distance.

We decided to arrive the night before our cruise. We used their free shuttle from Ft. Lauderdale airport. We were picked up by Kimberly who was extremely professional. She gave us a great tour on the way to the hotel and a great deal of information about the area around the hotel, including restaurants and stores within walking distance. There is a CVS next door, perfect to pick up toiletries and cosmetics for the trip. They even sell wine, however be sure to choose a twist off, the hotel had no cork screw and we were unable to open our wine. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. When we arrived we were able to sign up for a shuttle to Port Everglades for the next day at $ 6 per person. Great buffet breakfast too! Perfect stay before or after a cruise!

mean owner/​manager! i was trying to check in to this hotel but had to use the restroom first. and then he asked, do you have a reservation? i said no… and then he said, restrooms are for customers only… no good public relations at all! needless to say, i will never stay at this hotel and so should you! boycott this hotel! mean management and grossly overpriced!

My stay was really well, no construction and my room was mostly updated. New wallpaper and lamps and little décor pieces. I obviously choose this hotel because they are affordable. Obviously at their prices you are not getting a 5 star experience but I was still treated well and my room was clean and the location of the hotel was very convenient for me. I felt safe parking my car in their parking lot. They also said hello and goodbye to me every time I left and came back.

If you don’t mind mold, broken toilets and fixtures have broken, here is your place. We were there 2 nights– everything is just half done. You can tell they took the cheap route to remodel. They painted two walls with color and the white walls weren’t even touched up. They were either yellow or had mold spots. The toilet wasn’t clean. It was all black where the water comes out. The doors are like the doors from the 80s. Very think. There was a half inch gap between the door and the wall. The lady in the dining area is very strict and stern. My husband got biscuits and gravy and sat down to eat, but then realized he didn’t get enough gravy so he went back, got a bowl and put some gravy in it. She rushes over and goes —
That is gravy! It’s for the biscuits! You know biscuits and gravy?! My husband was thinking — do u think dumb? What else would it be?! Soup?

Supposedly non-​smoking but the hallways stink of cigarette smoke. Staff also do not answer the phones and when they finally do tell you ‘oh I was doing something.’ How about you do your job and serve customers.
This was a last minute decision and if I wasn’t with 3 others would have left immediately. I will not return.

Good Budget Hotel
I stayed here a couple of nights over the Memorial Day weekend.
The room was nice and clean. The air conditioning worked great. The free wifi was better than most hotel wifi. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was ok, very basic.
Overall this is a good bad place to stay if you want just the basics.

Be sure to take your cell phone to the pool area! The door doesn’t work properly to get back into the hotel. I couldn’t believe that I had to call The desk to ask to be in, I was told that the battery needed to be changed and I didn’t understand why there isn’t a sign telling you or why I wasn’t told when I was at check in! The staff was nice but the hotel needs repair and updating.

Construction. Noisy guests. Middle of a remodel. Broken air conditioner. Empty vending. Horrible coffee. Mold in the shower. Not worth the trouble.

Construction, construction, construction.
We stayed for 2 nights and were jolted out of our sleep every morning by hammering, banging & loud conversation right outside our door because they were repairing the carpets in the hallways. I wish we were informed of this and had a room on the other side of the hotel. Thank heavens we locked the door with the latch because someone tried to come in after one loud knock.
Thank goodness we don’t have to endure another morning of this. So much for staying at «Comfort Inn».

This is a place to sleep. It’s an old location with smokey hallways, a broken down hair drier, and a breakfast bar that unfortunately includes a broken down toaster, stale cereal, plus rotted apples and oranges. But if you need a place to sleep and shower, you can do it.
