Ft. Lauderdale Coffee shop with Fresh roasted Coffee by the cup or bag. Our coffee is roasted in house with 12oz and 1lb bags available. Our coffee shop offers fresh roasted Espresso Latte, Cappuccinos and other specialty coffee drinks.

Our specialty grade Arabica coffee is handcrafted by our Artisan Master Roaster on site and carefully roasted in small batches. This way you have your coffee either by the cup or bag at the peak of freshness and at its optimal flavor.

We are located just east of 95 on Commercial Blvd making it easy for those either on their way to work or traveling in South Florida.

History

Established in 2013.

The business – Calusa Coffee Roasters – is the brainchild of globe-​trotting travel executive and coffee aficionado Steven Hodel.

Hodel is now making his coffees available wholesale direct to coffee shops and restaurants in South Florida as well as online.

Local residents, however, will have the opportunity to buy bags or cups of coffee direct from the company while they are roasting.

As a true micro-​roaster and coffee shop, one of Calusa Coffee Roasters’ strengths is its attention to detail. The company takes great care in selecting which beans to use and roasts in small batches to ensure the highest possible quality.

At Calusa Coffee Roasters we’re passionate about doing things differently and with the focus squarely on quality.

Everything from our freshly roasted bags of coffee to our Espressos, Lattes and Cappuccinos will demonstrate this passion in the quality of the products we serve.

Business Owner

Hodel spent the last 20 years roaming the world in the travel industry. During extensive visits to Central and South America he visited the vast majority of the areas’ coffee farms.

Returning to Fort Lauderdale he was always disappointed that he couldn’t get a good cup of freshly roasted artisan coffee anywhere. He brewed up the solution: do it himself.
