C&I Studios

C&I is a pretty cool place! They’ve got a hipster vibe going on with their décor. First walking in, I thought I made a mistake and entered the wrong place. Follow the hallway to the back, and the place opens up to the actual coffee shop, like a cute hidden gem. LOVE that they have TONS of books! Now, whether or not those are the actual book vs just empty decoration, who knows. It looks neat, though! Even the bathroom had a book theme going on. Opened books with some burnt pages, hinting at Fahrenheit 451.
Coffee-​wise is also «hipster» in that it’s not your Starbucks on the corner. This is REAL coffee with more than just the drip brew. I appreciate the craft coffee.
Apparently more goes on here than just the coffee shop. It would be cool to return for open mic or any other events. Now I know… and now you know.

Super cool vibe. The ambiance is kind of hipster, artsy. They have free movie nights once a week on Tuesdays where they give you some free wine and popcorn. I went a while back and saw Back to the Future. The furniture is all mix matched chairs, couches, easy chairs and stuff which makes it look retro. The restroom is even cool looking! There are burned books hanging from the restroom ceiling which reminds me of Fastener Fahrenheit 451. Very cool place :) There is also a church that meets at the studio on Sunday mornings called Influence Culture. It is a great laid back church service that is made up of a young crowd.

Came here for art walk on Saturday. This place has it all. It is an Artistic production company. Whether your into photography, film, music, or visual arts C&I will help you in your vision. The studio space is huge. At night, they turn part of the studio into a live open mic with a bar! Super chill and a place to hone your musical skills. Take a visit every month for Fort Lauderdale Artwalk or Open mic :)

C&I is part varying forms of art studios and a coffee café. This review only pertains coffee part of their operations.
Whoever put the coffee café went to a lot of trouble to make it hip, sort of urban underground relaxing and casual. Located on NW 1^st Avenue within what is known as the FAT or Flagler Arts and Technology Village it obviously caters to those having artistic interests. To get to it you enter C&I Studios, kind of wind around to the rear of the building where you’ll find the coffee area. It’s a big area, has plenty of comfy lounge like chair seating and coffee counter. The décor is intentionally what I might call what not or hip urban relic arranged in a rather artistic manner. It’s composed of a huge book shelf behind the coffee counter seemingly only for decorative purposes unless you’ve brought a 30 foot high ladder with you to reach the top and a partially exposed classic Airstream trailer; all rather nifty, artistic and hip looking. The business end of it is definitely of the no hype no emphasis on market or sales and with somewhat ambivalent service. Indeed intended to be no stress and relaxed.
Most of the patrons are of 20 something in age, there mostly to relax, chat or fool around with the social programs or applications of their computers or mobile devices.
As for the coffee, they seem to have all kinds or forms. I, however, only had regular, the ordinary everyday type, and though I found it good didn’t think it was on par with that of a Starbucks or locals like Java Boys, Undergrounds or Storks. The real reason to go here is the relaxed easy going environment of the place, which like Undergrounds, is what sets it apart.

This place is trying so hard to be a hipster haven. It’s a recording studio cum third wave coffee shop. Problem: the coffee was undrinkable. My sister and I took a few sips and threw it away. Is Starbucks truly king in Ft. lauderdale? How unfortunate!

Great morning spot for a cup of coffee and a snack. Great vibe easy to get to and a lot of parking. The coffee selection is plentiful and tons of seating inside, so you can relax and read the paper without sitting next to tons of people.
A very industrial vibe located in a warehouse in an up and coming neighborhood. A def recommendation of you are anywhere downtown. Much better choice than the common starbucks.

Best espresso in Fort Lauderdale… The cool vibe, awesome staff and wall of books is the cherry on top of a perfect coffee experience.

Day or night this place is amazing. Very chill during the mornings and afternoon they serve coffee. And it is good coffee, they cater to people who drink almond and soy milk, gotta love that. At night time you can come here and have a few drinks. They have specialty cocktails and the people that work here are very positive and friendly. This place holds art events and even have live music. I went last weekend and there was a live photoshoot going on with models. This place puts a lot of effort into their events. Good quality business, people, management and coffee, drinks! I love seeing small business like this flourish, there is nothing like this in South Florida! Hopefully one day they will expand and make their own food, they would make a killing.

Immediately my favorite coffee spot– ever. Softly lit with antique furniture pieces, perfectly handcrafted coffee beverages AND attached to photo studios? Yes please.
Everything is customized and unique for a very pleasing experience. We were greeted and served by a lovely young woman, who was the perfect mix of professional and genuine friendliness.
If this place was closer to where I live, I would definitely be there every day.

Great place to hang on art walk nights, always have plenty of good musicians! They are doin lots of great things in media and music. They also have a bar/​coffee shop next door which is wicked cool. Definitely go check em out!

This may be my new favorite place in Fort Lauderdale Art Studio/​Photography studio/​coffee house/​Bar. Big warehouse when you walk in all open and pet friendly not a huge beer selection but full bar, background is a library which is different and not to trendy to the point were it looks like there trying to hard. Hipster folk and good vibes C&I is def worth checking out.

Josh & Co are some of the best Videographers and photographers in South Florida. They are ultra professional, punctual, well prepared, experienced, and specially creative. I have worked with some other crews through the years, but C&I Studios has become my go to crew. They use state of the art equipment and are resourceful with limited budgets. They have been able to produce any idea I have thrown at them, from animation to full fledged «music» videos, and corporate video brochures. I also love how they support the local community. Highly recommended!
