We are a full service bicycle and skateboard shop servicing the Fort Lauderdale, Broward County area. We offer expert repairs, sales, service, clothing, parts and accessories. Customer satisfaction is our driving force. Come shop in a clean and friendly environment. We welcome all levels of cyclist whether you use your bike for basic transportation or you are a serious cyclist. It would be our pleasure to help you.

History

Established in 2004.

I opened this bike shop as an alternative to the large «Corporate» bike shops that have dominated the market. I wanted a more personal connection to my customers. If you are looking for a knowledgable, friendly and helpful experience, please come see us. It would be our pleasure to help you.

I love everything about bicycles. As a child, my bicycle represented freedom. I would ride from sun up to sun down through the country roads of Pennsylvania. Today, my interest have expanded. I mountain bike, road bike, commute to work and play Hardcourt Bike Polo. My bike shop is my passion.

The owner is extremely friendly and very honest he will not sell you anything you don’t need. even though I wanted it he told me I don’t need, and explained why. I had a repair done on a old bike and I also purchased a brand-​new bike. I recommend this place to anyone. It’s all about honesty with me.

Great place to purchase/​order a bicycle. Matt ordered and set up a Montague Urban folding bike. He added the lock holder and light set to the bike for me. He happily instructed me on how to fold and unfold the bicycle & ensured that it fit into the tiny trunk of my Mini Coupe. If you’re looking for great bicycles and great service, you have found the place ! :-)

Matts shop is the best in Fort Lauderdale and I’ve been to most of them. He knows all the tricks of the trade and he’s a super nice guy. If you need a regular place for your important bike start coming here. If youre new to bikes come here as he will politely answer your questions and get you set up. He also has a good selection of bikes for sale. Bike shops come and go but Bicycle Evolution is always around.

I have been using this shop for the best part of ten years. I like the fact that I’m supporting a small business that offers great service and a highly knowledgeable staff.
My bicycle is always ready for pickup at the time stated and for smaller repairs Matt will try and perform while you wait.
If you are or wish to become an experienced cyclist it’s very important to build up a relationship with a shop like this.
Repairs are reasonably priced and are always perfect. I bought my last bike from here and it was well under the book price.

I live in the area and have 2 bikes, a road bike and a hybrid they take care of both always willing, courteous, attentive and informative, if i need my bike back for a club ride they are always accommodating in a fast turnaround. Not the biggest store but the best for customer service, sometimes you have to wait while they serve other customers, that is the way it is, when it your turn to be served you don’t want to be rushed

OMG! I love this place! I bought my Montague Paratrooper Pro from them. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They allowed me to take test drive of one their Montague Paratrooper bikes on display. It was quite helpful in making my decision. The staff was wonderful and quite helpful in making my decision in buying the bicycle. I highly recommended them!

So my second experience every bit as good as the first, maybe better.
Bought myself and my GF his and hers Electra Super Deluxe’s on ebay and there were some issues on arrival. I brought them right over to Matt at the store and he has it sorted out in less than a day. Both bikes are running like new and we could not be happier. Every business owner that runs a customer centric business could take a lesson from this place. The only place I have ever been to that came in under an estimate for work. When does that ever happen? I would trust these guys with my house at this point. I can say this for sure, for as long as I live in S. Florida and am able to ride bikes, this will be my spot for any services needed.
I can’t thank them enough for saving the day, now we get to take our new cruisers to Key West for the weekend and ride in style.

These guys made buying a bike super easy. Looking for a simple, one-​speed road bike, I came in to test ride a Purefix that I’ve seen around town. When i didn’t like the general feel of the floor model, the shop guy had me take his for a spin to feel what a higher stem, some grips, and plusher seat will do. I pre-​ordered my Fixie with the trim and customizations needed to make my bike MINE and I could not possibly be happier. The ease of which it was to pick out all the pieces I wanted and come in a week later to pick up my beauty was beyond my expectations.
Its a small shop but they have all kinds of accessories to make your ride safer and/​or more fun and personalized. They also take trade-​ins, offer tune-​ups and repairs at a fair price. Matt and his colleague really know their business and were a pleasure to work with. Will probably be doing all future bike business here.

Matthew was very helpful! He’s the owner and provided me with great customer service and knowledge. I was able to test drive the bike for as long as I wanted around the shopping center. Very easy shopping experience. I found the perfect bike for a great price. Feels good to support the local businesses as well instead of going to Walmart. Matthew was helpful in explaining components for a road bike and helping me since I’m a newbie trying to buy one. It is a small store and there were no lady road bikes to try. I would have to order without seeing it first.
They measure you by hand and adjust bike to fit you. Since this is my first road bike I will go on to another store to search for my bike so I can see it in person.
I did get my free water bottle with check in!

I had my Jamis Dakota 29er serviced here last week. My front fork was frozen among a myriad of other maintenance issues. That bike is my car and my escape. Long story short: These guys care and it reflects in their work. My bike rides like it’s brand new so I can crush another thousand miles!

The shop is really neat and has sufficient equipment.
There was one person behind the counter talking with someone when I came in. I was ignored, I waited about 10 minutes and left. If, I got a simple acknowledgement I would have stayed longer and spent my money.

Finally a business who says yes to a job and gets it done perfectly! I had a funky bike with no place to mount a kid seat to it and after schlepping it around town, including Miami, I was told repeatedly it could not be done. I came here on a recommendation from a friend and they said it could be done, no problem and it was. I ordered a bike seat (topeak babysitter) through them and it was seamlessly and safely installed. These guys know their stuff! My new bike shop:)

This is not the closest shop to me, but my first choice for bike maintenance and repair. It is definitely worth the trip to get quality service on my bicycles. The owner really takes personal pride in making sure the job is done right. If you come in with issues, he very respectfully listens (which seems kinda rare with other shops). He also if very helpful in ordering items that are not in stock. Prices are even competitive, which is great to see at a locally owned shop.
I only wish I started coming here sooner!
