We are a family owned company that was founded in 1973. We are currently celebrating our 42nd year in business. It’s rare to find a family-​run A/​C company that’s been in business longer than we have.

Business Owner

Tommy Smith, President of All Year Cooling, has grown up around this business. With years of hard work and dedication, Tommy understands what it takes to provide stand-​out service in a competitive market. In order to provide first in class customer service, he has made himself reachable at any time of day by providing his personal cell phone number.

Being part of a family owned business has taught Tommy the importance of family to his customers. Tommy loves spending time with his wife and three daughters. He likes supporting his daughters by getting involved in their extracurricular activities and is currently coaching his two oldest daughters’ soccer teams. Tommy also enjoys creating memories by going out on family adventures. Because of this, Tommy has hosted several contests for customers to help them find new ways to spend time with their family. Some examples of previous contest prize include a vacation to Disney World and a fun day splashing in the water at Rapids Water Park.

Run as fast as you can… They are crooks and thieves!!!
They replaced my AC unit and the unit blocked my sidewalk to the back of my home. I told them it was blocking the only access to my back yard. I paid $ 2450 out the $ 3300 and said until they replaced the unit I was not going to pay any more. I asked for a refund and they removed the unit from my yard, but NO REFUND. The owner called me and said there are no smaller units which is a out right lie. After 5 months of no responses other than pay the balance and they would reinstall a unit that was unacceptable. To date they refuse to refund my money…

A couple of weeks ago my Ac went out on a Wednesday night. I did a Google search and found All year cooling. My unit is about 10 years old so I was pretty worried I might be running into a pretty big repair. The Tech got to my home around 8:00 and just had to blow out a drain line. It took him about 20 minutes to take care of and I was back in air that night. I was so thankful the cost was minimal and the tech didn’t try to pull something on me with some outrageous repair. These guys seem like a real stand up company and I would recommend them to anyone.

This was the worst experience I had with a company that I contacted for service on anything in my home. First they delivered the wrong AC system which was more than the one I ordered and the manager insisted that I pay the difference. Days after installation my entire circuit box blew out and had to be replaced which cost me thousands of dollars. Finally, after several requests I given the owner’s phone number to complain about the service. When I talked to him his only response was anger that I contacted him while he was home with his family. Run do not walk away from this company.

The other day, I had a cascade of water coming from my air conditioner. After freaking out a little bit, we called All Year Cooling yesterday.
They came today, after I had to reschedule from the morning timeframe. What I thought was a water intake leak turned out to be a water outlet/​drainage issue that had backed up.
The tech, Horace, worked quickly and thoroughly to clear the blockage of the colony of algae that had built up. It was pretty disgusting. He gave me tips on how to avoid it and some basics of what I need to do to avoid problems. He was even nice to my crazy dog. Very personable.
I recommend them to anyone.

Well after two days, still no repair of our ac unit. Was told they should have called early to inform us, but that someone had dropped the ball. Company was apologetic and when they finally got someone hear, they did a great job. Must say, they did seem to care, which helped make the situation better.

Had a problem, the tech came by said the unit was shot and needed to be replaced. I told him the unit was not that old, his comment was «this is Florida». I called a different company, he replaced a part and said the unit was in great shape…$ 3000 vs $ 160

I can not say enough about my experience with this company. They have made my purchasing of a new air conditioner very smooth, timely and down right enjoyable. This company knows how to treat customers. From the first phone call to the men who replaced my unit everyone was polite and respectful. Their prices are great and the service is five star. They are quick and deliver as promised. They have a new customer for life and I have already told my friends. I have confidence and complete faith in this company. What a relief! They are the best!

Been a customer for quite few years now.
Not sure how long that will last.
The last two repair calls I’ve made seem to have gone ok.
However, the first visit never seems to be enough. Again, they have to come back (they left an hour ago A/​C still running and leaking water) and probably charge me more again.
They even installed this unit that I have. It’s been trouble almost from the beginning.
The people that work there are very friendly.
Just a bit frustrating to always have to call back to have them turn around to come back again.

Just another Air Conditioner company with sales pitch. Called and was told they will send someone to check my air conditioner and they will tell me if they can fix. Someone came that afternoon and before he even look at the air conditioner, told me that could not be fix and started writing a quote. The next day call another company and fixed my air conditioner at a very reasonable price. When I am ready to purchase an air conditioner this will be one company I will never call

I must say, that I had no idea just how loyal and amazing this company could actually be. On each receipt, the presidents name and phone number, yes, a direct line to the president of the company is present. Sometimes, you think that that line won’t really go anywhere. But you’ll be met with more customer service people instead.
Less than an hour after posting my Unilocal review last night, the president of the company, Tommy Smith, called me personally to discuss what was happening with my AC unit. Not only was he exceptionally kind and concerned, he was adamant about finding a solution to the hot air that was coming out of my unit, and was extremely apologetic for the discomfort the hot air caused.
He has been hands-​on and instrumental in the fixing of my unit today, and I am extremely grateful. I 100% take back what I previously wrote. Matter of fact, I’d say the total opposite.
This is a company that stands behind their work and cares about providing exceptional service. My family has used them before, my landlord has obviously use them for this unit, and I will continue to use this company in the future!
Tommy Smith is a shining example of what an involved President is and how one person can change perception in an instant!

A friend recommended us to use All Year Cooling. We dealt with them remotely from California, and could not have asked for a smoother installation.
We called them late on Monday. A technician came out to determine why the AC was not working (2nd opinion) on Tuesday. He called me and gave us a written quote for a repair as well as a verbal quote for a new AC unit. I spoke with Tommy and he explained everything to me and gave me his recommendation (which was not the most expensive option). I called the first company to see how much they would charge for the same new unit and their price was $ 1000 more and also realized that they were talking about a 13 seer unit vs. Tommy’s was 16 seer (same manufacturer, same size). Tommy emailed me a written quote for the new unit. Then, Kevin, the GM called me to let me know about another brand that was a little bit higher quality and better warranty, that had a promo going for the same price as the first one. There was an FPL rebate going on, which they completed for us — we did not have to do anything and we just paid All Year Cooling the net balance.
By the time my husband and I made the decision, it was around 8pm in FL but both Kevin and Tommy had given us their cell number to call whatever time we needed to. I called Kevin and he assured me that the AC will get installed on Wednesday afternoon. Wednesday, it was installed and Kevin called me on Thursday to follow up.
We’re very happy with both the price and the service!

I would like to update my previous review of this company. While we did have issues with the unit and the labor charges, the owner has agreed to accept responsibility for the fact that this particular A/​C unit might have unique challenges and has offered us extended labor support as a result. In my opinion, service companies (despite an overall high level of customer satisfaction) cannot always be expected to operate at peak performance, it is the effort to rectify and regain the customer’s satisfaction which can really set a company apart from its competitors. First class customer service– our AC broke down of course on a humid hot afternoon (it’s always either that or on the weekend that they decide to croke) and a tech was sent out ASAP to check it out. Turned out a part needed to be replaced so the company sent out a separate employee to deliver it. They bent over backwards to get it fixed. Workers were super friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend them for your any/​all of your AC needs.

I felt compelled to write another update shortly after the service tech left my home (9:10 PM). Rarely are calls to the A/​C companies non-​emergencies. In Florida, an air conditioner is not a luxury it is a necessity.
My wife called me this morning and she told me the A/​C was not blowing cool air. I immediately tried to troubleshoot with what I knew but it wasn’t working so I called All Year and for some odd reason the number kept ringing. I think it had to do with lunchtime and the roll-​over service. Anyways, I remembered what the owner Tom Smith told me, if I ever had any issues to call him.
So I did, well text. He immediately responded and within minutes I had customer support call me to tell me a tech was on the way. My wife had already left to go to appointment so I had asked if it could be done later, they accommodated me no problem.
I received a call to advise me the tech was on the way as well as the owner personally telling me. It felt like first class service all the way and as homeowner all you want is that reassurance, especially when it comes to home service calls.
The tech came, immediately diagnosed the problem to be the fan. To make a long story short, the part was dropped off to my home and installed the same day. I’m happy to say we now have cool air and I can’t thank Tom Smith and All Year Cooling enough.
I can say with complete confidence that any concerns I once had are a thing of the past and not only am I thoroughly impressed with the complete 180 this company did in regards to their customer service, but I’m glad that I stuck with them because tonight they went above and beyond.

ZERO stars. This company will sell you an a/​c unit, but then, you’re on your own. My brand new unit is blowing water thru my air ducts. My ceiling is leaking everywhere. I called for urgent repair, there was no sense of urgency. The earliest appointment I was given was 24 hours later and THEN THEY DID NOT KEEP THE APPOINTMENT! Phone call to Tom Smith not returned. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

So here’s my update review from yesterday. All Year Cooling told us yesterday that they would call us the next day, which was Sunday 8/​15, between 10 am & noon. They called at 11:45 to say we were the next stop. Within 20 minutes the technichian was at our front door. He was a very courteous guy. He check out our a/​c & told us what the problem was — the blower motor needs replacement. He seemed to really believe our a/​c was still under warranty & would find out for us. In the meantime though, he thoroughly cleaned out our little electric pump & explained that we need to add bleach to the thing every once in a while. He said it was okay to continue running the a/​c until they came back to fix it on Tuesday. The visit was free just like they advertised & there was not even a charge to clean out the pump. The guy was here for about 45 mins. At this point, I highly recommend AYC. I got the feel that they are like to do a good job & not into gouging. My husband seemed to think the same.
