This review was based on the call. Never did get a chance to experience the actual service.
Had an emergency after hours. Called this company and got John. He barely allowed me to explain the issue before telling me that they were not able to service anyone before 12pm tomorrow. What would be the point of stating you are a 24 hour business?

They were fast and professional and on time even in really bad weather. Also the owner explained the problem of the drain field. I will use them in the future.

It’s a rarity to find a service business with this much integrity. Called them about a backed up tub and Brendan was at my house the next day. He snaked every possible line, spending over an hour, and for $ 250, my problem seemed solved. Until the system backed up again in a different spot two hours later. I called him and he returned that night at 8pm. Here’s the thing… He COULD have said «you need $ 5k» in plumbing work. How would I have known any better? But he didn’t. He snaked again at no charge, found the blockage and it cleared for good.
He had me in a position where he could have said anything. But because his business runs on repeat customers and full work days, he didn’t. It’s just really great to know people still run honest businesses. Now, if anyone can find me an honest mechanic…

When you’ve got a problem, who you gonna call? Apparently not these guys. I called 8 times, got «John» talking to other people and not talking into the phone that he answered. Fourth call he answered and then we got disconnected. 6 – 7 calls he picked up but was talking to someone else and not into the phone then hung up. Professional? Eh… Too bad. I got a couple of great reviews on him from Gotta Guy in South Florida. I have to tell them of my wonderful experience. I’m using another company that was screened through HomeAdvisor. At least they answer the telephone.

Guido came out to pump and clean our tank this morning and he was wonderful– very knowledgeable and helpful. Our tank is damaged beyond repair (as expected, we bought a disaster out of foreclosure) and I’m disappointed that they don’t do installations in Dade County, but otherwise it was as enjoyable as a septic service can be!

We hired John and his guys today for a real estate septic tank inspection. Prior to hiring them for the job, I called other local providers but none offered the amount of information that Maria did when I called A Alligator. She took her time to explain what was to be expected and told me her husband John would be able to come out the next day. That day was today and I was so relieved they came.
They discovered a leak in our ST, fixed it immediately and built a new manhole since the previous owners had installed a flimsy riser 20+ years ago that was no good.
I would call them again in the future without hesitation. They work fast, were reliable and were fair with their pricing (considering all the work they have to do).

Im very pleased with A Aligator. Prompt professional and honest. They worked with my budget and circumstances and got the job done.

We used their service twice for a septic pump/​inspection and a baffle replacement. Both times, the staff in the office was helpful in scheduling and schooled me in the world of septic systems. I took notes! The team arrived on time both times and was thorough without leaving a mess. I plan to use this company again!

The most unreliable and unprofessional co. family I ever had to deal with. They do not honor their work at all. (they do not know or understand the word Honor or being professional) They pretend to know what the problem is, asking lots of money to «cure» the issue and when the problem was not solved immediately after they left, they refuse to return to fix the problem, while they call us unreliable.
The worst co and people to deal with… Planning a law suit.
Definitely will not use them ever again!

I have used this company several times in the past, as always they preformed exceptionally by showing up when they promised. We had them pump out our septic several years ago and last year they had pumped it twice and John recommended that we replace the drain field. John did come out and give us an estimate and he also explained what they were going to do and the estimated time it would take. John did everything he said he was going to do along with sending out some very qualified guys to complete the job. John was correct with his diagnosis of what the problem was, the drain field was original from the late 70’s. I can only hope that the drain field that they installed will last just as long.

Everything I said is 100% true from first review. I do not appreciate you claiming I was looking for something free. I’m offended, you would say that, you didn’t even contact me. I also have pictures to prove my case.

I’d been having a recurring issue with my bathrooms not draining properly and backing up. I had Roto-​Rooter out twice and the problem persisted.
Calling A-​Alligator instead, I got an actual person instead of an answering machine. The gentleman pretty much diagnosed my problem over the phone asking me specific questions regarding the work done previously. He told me what to expect from them and gave me an exact quote and a specific time they could come out.
Brandon was right on time and got to work immediately. Very professional, it was amazing what he did compared to Roto-Rooter’s service. They provided a camera inspection of my drainage system so we were able to see the exact cause of the problem. Brandon was all over the house cleaning out my pipes from everywhere they were accessible. This is hard and dirty work but the young man remained extremely professional and friendly throughout the process and the bill was exactly as quoted so no surprises. There was even a follow-​up email that included a video of the camera inspection of our drain pipe.
This company is a perfect example of what we should expect when seeking out a professional.

I called this outfit when septic tank sewage backed up in our house. I spoke on the phone with the owner John, who told me it would cost between $ 500 and &1500 to diagnose and correct the problem with cameras going into the drain field to locate and fix the problem. His people did correct the problem, a grease-​clogged discharge line, which wad cleaned out with a pressurized water hose. They also pumped out and hosed down the tank. No cameras were needed as the plugged pipe was visible to the naked eye. The entire operation took a little over one hour. The charge $ 1,500! I paid the money without protest as we were in a jam but I now regret not calling another outfit as I feel I was horrendously overcharged. This type of business practice is what gives the plumbing industry a bad reputation!

We had a situation so I called these guys and they came out the next morning. When they got there the guy looked at the septic tank and quickly said it wasn’t the tank and our plumbing needed to be snaked. They got on the roof and took care of it really quickly. They then said since the reason they came out wasn’t the actually the problem they wouldn’t charge us anything. Despite my insistence of wanting to be charge he refused. I felt awfully guilty because it was pretty hot out. They finally agreed to at least let us buy them lunch. This company is professional, quick, and affordable.

Very knowledgeable staff. I was won over from the very beginning, big difference from the other companies I priced out.

I had an issue with a septic tank. Called in the morning and spoke with Maria, she was nice and professional. She scheduled the service for the time I requested. When they arrived they went right to it and got the job done in no time. Both of the workers seemed to be knowledgeable and were very professional. The price was good so I will look for them next time I have plumbing problems.

I called A aligator, inc. And Rhonda answered. She was pleasant and friendly and dispatched a truck quickly. Brandon maneuvered the truck excellently, I have a long winding driveway, they worked quickly and were done before the sun set!

I needed my septic tank pumped and called based on the reviews. They were friendly, convenient, and well priced. What can I say, they showed up, did the job, and left.

This company and their service is spectacular. IT is a family operation and run very professionally. Jan. 8 was the third time in the past number of years that I had AAlligator pump and clean out my septic tank and the guys that came to do the job, (Brandon [owners’ son], and workmanSam were efficient, courteous, very knowledgeable, and overall very excellent at doing the job.
I havealways found the job price to be both fair and reasonable, and I heartily recommend this company to anyone who needs septic tank or drainfield service. if Icould add a 6^th star to the rating I would.

I am the property manager for my neighbor’s house next door and the tenants had a serious problem: The septic tank had backed up and was coming up in the shower of the master bath. I had made the mistake of calling another national chain septic tank service (Roto-​Rooter) but after TWO DAYS of them saying they were coming and then not showing up, and me calling again and again to find out what was happening and them making excuses, I threw in the towel and looked up Septic Tank Cleaning Services in Hollywood, FL on Google and found A-​Alligator Septic Cleaning Service, a local family-​owned business.
It was 4:30 when I contacted María, (the boss) and told her that we’d been dealing with a backed up septic tank for days now and that we were desperate! She asked for my phone number and said she would check with the driver to see his availability and call me right back. She called in under 2 minutes and said he’d be here in less than an hour — and they were!
Brandon (the son) is a personable, professional who went straight to work digging and opening it up. He did find that the tank was overflowing, indicating a blocked drain field that needed replacing. He emptied the tank and flushed the lines. Then his dad, John, showed up to assess the problem and gave us a quote for replacing the blocked drain field. He wrote the quote up and showed that it includes labor, parts and permit.
Everyone I dealt with at this company was absolutely great! María was prompt, courteous and professional on the phone and Brandon arrived before the appointed time. He worked quickly and efficiently and explained the process to me as he went along. John came along about 20 minutes later and discussed replacing the original drain field (from when the house was built in 1962!). He wrote up a proposal, explaining and detailing costs for labor, materials and permits and had the problem resolved in about an hour! It was a true pleasure to deal with this family-​owned business from start to finish!
