Had a great experience at the salon. My hair looks and feels perfect thanks to the great work done by Sherri. Very nice and comfortable ambiance.

J, one of the owners and my lovely stylist was beyond awesome in making me feel comfortable, along with giving me an enjoyable experience here! I am not one to get very many haircuts as I just do not like the whole process of having to sit there while someone else does my hair.
Since it had been quite awhile (over a year) since my last haircut J listened intently and then gave me options to keep it as long as possible but also keeping my hair healthy. Throughout my whole visit here he was very friendly, exceedingly nice, and made me the most comfortable I could be in a salon chair. J has owned many different salons and been in the salon business for over 40 years. He is the sweetest guy you will meet along with being very knowledgeable about techniques and ways to improve overall appearance of your hair. I knew I was in good hands once I stepped into his salon with him right there to greet me!
The salon itself is on a smaller scale but is very open and organized. I only saw the two owners working there but I’m pretty sure there are atleast two other stylist. They offer you a refreshment whenever you walk in which is a nice touch. Parking is in the back with a private-​free lot and the salon is in the historic strip mall right next to Laser Wolf.
I am beyond happy to have met such a great professional stylist and couldn’t be happier with my haircut! If you are looking for someone to take superior care of your hair and really listen to your wants/​needs, come to 2 Blonde and request J! You won’t be disappointed!

I really like this salon. Sherry is the only person who has touched my hair & I’ve been so happy with the results. I have had my hair dyed and cut at the salon and been very happy with the experience. The place is clean and everyone is alway punctual which is great.

I just want to start off by saying that I come from a family that taught me if I have nothing else to say, say nothing at all. However, I feel so wronged by this salon that I want others to know so that they can avoid the same heartache I went through.
I found this salon via a Groupon deal and based on the reviews I uncovered I thought it looked like a great place and great deal, as I have used Groupon’s in the past and have had wonderful experiences.
From the second I sat down with my stylist to start my highlights I got the impression that she did not feel super comfortable doing them. My hair was in my face the entire time, the foils were pressed against my face as she applied bleach to the foil (right against my eyes/​nose), and she kept second guessing herself the entire time. I must say she was extremely friendly and pleasant and I am sure she is an amazing stylist, but even the website shows that she is the only one in the salon that does not specialize in highlights. Basically, because I purchased a groupon and did not pay full price, they decided to give me to the newest stylist. My highlights came out horrible, they went from the root of my hair down to just above my ear and stopped, the highlights were all different widths and they were not spread out in a consistent manner. When I called to complain the owner kept trying to tell me it was my fault and that I had color in my hair, which is why the highlights did not take. There is definitely no color in my hair and I watched the stylist only bleach the upper part as she was doing my foils.
This salon may treat their regular, full price paying customers with respect, but they certainly do not hold others to those same standards. Even after my horrible experience I still have my stylist a generous tip because I felt bad that she spent the time on my hair. The owner refused to refund me my money and kept telling me the problems were my fault. Horrible customer service, extremely unacceptable.
I would never ever go to this salon again, even if it was free. I had a horrible experience, the owner saw, and still let me leave the salon crying. Save your money and go somewhere else! I would give zero starts if it were possible.

I have been going to Jay at 2 Blonde for many years now. Coming from Atlanta it took me a while to find someone who does hair the way I like it.
I am consistantly happy with the cut and color job Jay does. He takes his time and makes sure it is exactly what I want.
I love this salon, they are awesome!

I came in because of a Groupon nearly a year ago and stayed. Gorge does a great job and gets me in and out!
My hair gets compliments all the time! Everyone is friendly and in my opinion there is a nice balance of chat and silence (I like a combo).

I visited this salon after buying a Groupon for a cut and highlights. My experience was okay: the stylist was way too chatty, but I can overlook that because some people like that. The visit lasted almost 4 hours, which I expected, but my hair has been processed a lot for quickly at other salons. My color turned out fine; it did not disappoint me but did not wow me either. Remember, I was here on a Groupon; I would not go back to pay full price, as I found the prices rather high for what I got.
I did like the nicer smock they gave me to wear, rather than the typical plastic one. The atmosphere is nice, also; sleek and modern. Other reviewers complained of cramped space, but I did not find that problem at all; perhaps the design had been redone before my visit.

I officially decided I love this salon. It takes a lot for me to love a salon since I am a) super picky b) hate spending time in salons.
So, I still hate spending time in this salon and that has not changed, but they do a really good job and are very reasonably priced. The location is a little annoying– they are in not the best area alongside some railroad stop and the people are way too talkative (some may like that, but not my cup of tea). I however think their staff is very skilled. I originally came on a Groupon and then they signed me up to their mailing list. I would suggest joining since they are always emailing me specials. I basically love how they blow dry hair. Few salons in Florida know how to blow dry hair and this is one of them. They don’t fake it with a straightening iron that ends up frizzing the second you walk outside. They use the right tools, right products and are just really good. I would highly recommend.

I’ve never written one of these reviews before, but I feel so compelled after my recent experience at 2 Blond. Went here for a mani/​pedi and I can honestly say it was the WORST mani/​pedi I’ve ever had. First of all, the layout of the salon is super awkward and confusing. It doesn’t feel upscale or modern whatsoever. There’s about 20 colors to choose from on the wall… and I don’t want to sound pretentious, but the choices were seriously lacking. More importantly, the actual mani/​pedi itself was not up to par. It was rough, painful and horrible. I literally started bleeding and the manicurist said nothing. Not even an «oops» apology. For every actual nail she painted, she painted just as much of my finger; causing her to dig around and go over and over to get the excess nailpolish off. I’ve never seen this happen before by a professional! When I’m paying $ 50 for these two services, I expect it to look better than when I paint my own nails with my left hand. The pedicure was equally bad. Same terrible paint job and painful digging around the nails and cuticles. At this point, I started to get nervous about an infection in my nails due to the unsanitary conditions. Between the tools that were used on me and the foot tub itself, I am seriously crossing my fingers I come out unscathed from this place. I’ve never once felt weird about this when having my nails done, but the lack of soap in the tub and old/​used products and utensils being used made me feel very insecure. While all of these things were driving me crazy, I was trying to distract myself by observing the interior of the salon. This did not help ease my mind. The male «receptionist» sat in a salon chair for the entire hour and 45 minutes I was there, playing on his phone. While he sat there, I couldn’t help but notice the dirty floors, cob webbed corners of the ceiling and bugs/​dirt in the light fixtures. It seems there may be a much better ues of his time.
I was truly disappointed, to say the least. I hate to see a business go under, so I can only hope the owners take the constructive criticism and step up their game. The salon industry is very word of mouth oriented, and they will NOT be getting a good review from me.

I’ve been going to 2 Blond Salon for over a year now to get my hair colored (blond), and as long as I live in South Florida, I will not go anywhere else! I’ve been to a lot of salons over the years (I get my hair colored every six weeks) and 2 Blond Salon is by far the best salon I’ve ever been to.
The salon itself is lovely… a real gem in downtown Fort Lauderdale! But it’s the nice people and their dedication to customer service that really stands out. Above all, they have amazing stylists who really care about doing hair and making you look and feel beautiful! Jay (one of the owners) is my stylist and is an expert colorist. He gets my color spot on every time. I am a very light blond and from my first visit, Jay has perfected my color formula. I actually get complimented on my hair color on a regular basis, so the quality of their work really speaks for itself. The prices are fair for the services they provide, too.
I’m so thankful to finally find a salon that does excellent work and really listens to their clients to give them what they want. I so enjoy my visits to 2 Blond Salon and would recommend it to anyone looking for an unpretentious salon with great people and exceptional talent.

Sherri has been stylist for a few months now. She (along with Jay and the entire staff) do a great job. They are always very friendly. It’s a nice salon without being pretentious, very clean, well set up, etc.
The location is very convenient for those of us that work downtown. Parking is easy. Sherri is efficient, but doesn’t rush you. Prices are right in line with every place else from what I can tell.
It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a good salon with experienced stylists near downtown or Wilton Manors, etc.

Best cut and color I have had in a long time! My stylist was Sherri… She is also an owner. She consulted with me. and gave me her suggestions. She was very friendly and professional. She was able to give my hair depth — with her highlighting and great cut! The salon is nice… in a historic building in the Progresso section — just north of downtown Ft. Lauderdale. I was very happy with the results… and have received lots of compliments! I will return! Only suggestion… is with the pricing. Times are tough… and it is a bit pricey. Maybe offering «specials» to make it a bit more affordable?

This salon appears to be okay when you first walk in. The décor is modern and sleek, and the staff is relatively friendly. However, as soon as you sit down in the stylist’s chair, you realize how awkward and cramped the setup is. The stations are basically on top of each other, and you face other clients as you’re getting your hair done– which makes the whole thing uncomfortable. The stylist who did my hair was friendly and she offered me something to drink, which was nice but didn’t end up making up for how badly she butchered my hair. I didn’t notice anything wrong with it before I left, so I paid her a generous tip and went home. Soon after that, I noticed that my hair was COMPLETELY uneven in the front. I’m not talking about a small difference either– the left side was about an inch shorter than the right side. It was blatantly obvious. I have no idea how I didn’t notice it while I was still in the salon, but the better question is, why didn’t she? I thought about it and realized that she never checked the length to make sure it was even. To me, that is very unprofessional and lazy. To top it all off, I couldn’t even go back for a fix because my appointment was on a Saturday, the salon is closed Sundays and Mondays, and I went out of town Monday afternoon for a week. I was forced to get another haircut on my vacation and pay full price all over again. The stylist who fixed the other girl’s hack job was appalled and said that it wasn’t only uneven in the front, but it looked terrible in the back as well. Don’t go here… It’s overpriced ($ 40-&60 for just a haircut) and there’s a good chance you’ll get an amateur stylist who doesn’t care how your hair turns out.

I have been to many many salons and hairdressers over the years and Jeffrey is by far the best I have ever gone to. He got my hair color spot on and listens to me with my cut. I would highly recommend him to the pickiest of people!
