Renewal Christian Counseling Center was birthed for the purpose of providing Christian Counseling with a fresh, Godly perspective on emotional healing. Renewal means, «to bring newness to,» and, «to build or renovate what has been lost.»

Renewal’s mission is to rebuild and bring newness to the individual and his or her relationships through Christ-​centered clinical counseling.

Meet the Business Owner

Steve F.

Business Owner

Steve Fair is a Licensed Social Worker who has worked in the Mental Health & Substance Abuse field for over 17 years, working with many populations. Mr. Fair earned his bachelor and masters degrees at the University of Michigan and started his career working with Substance Abuse Disorders, AD (H)D Assessment/​Treatment, and play therapy. Mr. Fair then moved into working with the Severely Mental Ill where he oversaw clinical services for some of the most difficult cases in our counties at a set of Crisis Residential Homes for children/​teenagers. Mr. Fair has specialized in treating psychotic and mood disorders with home bound populations as well as working in Outpatient Settings. He does a lot of work with marriages, and has seen great success with some of the most treatment resistant cases when his clients allow him to help them integrate their faith into their healing process. He is trained in Inner Healing Prayer models, and helps people to heal physically, emotionally, & spiritually!
