History

Established in 1991.

David Rogge, Owner of the facility, built the first building in 1991 with the intentions of allowing the tenants of Lamplighter Acres (mobile home community owner by his father) to put their stuff in a storage unit and away from their home. Once the first building was full, David then decided to build two more buildings. He stopped building the storage facility to help his father build Lamplighter Acres. When David’s daughter, Heather Thomas, graduated high school, he decided to put up 4 more buildings. Those didn’t fill as fast as David expected. Heather then came to work for her father in 2010 and those 4 buildings stayed around 97% full. So, Heather and David decided to put up one more building. Heather setup, arranged and inspected the new building finished in 2014. Rt. 9 Mini Storage has been family owned and operated since day 1. We strive on having excellent customer service and take pride in the appearance of the facility.
