Well it probably didn’t help that I had spent the entire day in an advertising class that focused on service. Perhaps not fair to review a restaurant immediately after that. Uncle’s was recommended to us by the owner of the place we were staying. We were riding by and it caught my eye so we stopped. When we walked in one of the employees passed by us 3 times before I had to initiate the conversation. He seemed hurried and busy but a quick«hello, I’ll be right with you» would have put my hackles down. He did bring water but we waited 15 minutes before being helped by our server. I will say that I didn’t realize that our server was also the bartender until about halfway through our meal so I eased up a bit on my impatience. The food was fine-nothing spectacular but I did like their pizza crust. It’s thinner and a little crispy. Just how I like it. I probably won’t return here on my own but if someone I was with wanted to eat here, I wouldn’t say no.

Uncles offers an array of toppings, all of which are fresh, quality ingredients and it shows in the food. Their salads are served with polenta croutons which are freshly made and perfectly seasoned. They’re so good that you’re going to wish you could order those at a movie theatre and skip the popcorn! The pizza crust is chewy yet thin enough where it’s easy to bite. My husband and I ordered a side salad, slice of pepperoni and also shared the special if the day which was the Patrick Swayze. It was SO good! The crushed tomatoes offered a sweetness, the cream cheese balanced the acidity and bite of the basil, garlic and balsamic and the crust was the perfect vehicle for a great bite of pizza.

Solid pizza with one of the best crusts in town, and great ingredients on top of it. Just as important; friendly service. The full bar certainly makes my visits quite a bit more enjoyable, but the consistent, friendly service always makes my experiences quite pleasant. A great part of the south old town neighborhood. New ownership should make an already solid place even better!

Hands down delicious. We recently moved to Fort Collins and can’t get away from ordering dinner from this place. The Beet Salad is unrivaled even at 5 star restaurants. Quality of food far exceeds your standard pizza place. Cozy on the inside and works well for take out too. Keep an eye on the specials!

The pizza is fine, bordering good. Same for the service. $ 25/pizza is $ 3 too much. Just bc you can, doesn’t mean you should.

I think that altitude affects crusts. I think Uncles tries to do the right thing with thin crust pizza. I believe they meet the mountain challenge better than anyone on the front range with their crust. I believe their ingredients are a cut or three above in quality compared to those strip mined for chain pizzas. My life and taste buds have been blessed by Uncles Pizza. Graci!

Tried the Spinach Pie with mushrooms and it was pretty good. Might be even better with some ricotta added on with the mozz. We’ll definitely be back to try some others. The appetizer special that day was fried goat cheese and ricotta balls which were 5 star worthy… should be on the menu everyday Very delicious.

This place is one of my favorites for pizza. Being from Chicago, it’s been hard to find pizza in Fort Collins that even comes close to what I eat back home. Although Uncles is not Chicago-style pizza, it is fantastic! I have been going there since they opened on College Ave, and the selections have only gotten better since they moved to Old Town. The reason for only 3 stars is that it seems that their service has slipped lately, at least in the bar area. My parents were in from Chicago last weekend and we sat in the bar area. Aside from us, only one other bar table was occupied and 2 – 3 people were sitting at the bar. The dining room was not very crowded, maybe 3 tables. It looked like there were 2 servers in the dining room, and the bartender was responsible for serving everyone in the bar. She was pretty inattentive and kept forgetting to bring our drinks. It took our pizza over an hour to get to us, almost as if she forgot to put the order in. My dad got up to ask if it would be much longer, and she acted like he was being rude for asking because they were so busy(which they weren’t). She had a pretty poor attitude the entire time, and I seriously considered not tipping her, but I definitely didn’t tip her as much as I would’ve, had her attitude and service been better. She ended up paying for our drinks due to the beer delays, which was nice, but she didn’t even acknowledge the fact that the pizza took over an hour. She also did not apologize at all or thank us on our way out. I’m not sure if she is a regular bartender, so I wouldn’t want to generalize to all the bartenders, but if you go to Uncles, you might want to sit in the dining room. Also know that they have started doing delivery through one of the local delivery services, so that could be the reason for the delay. Perhaps they need to add more staff to accommodate the delivery demand, so they can still provide good service to their dining room customers.

Pizza was really good, service was outstanding, but a little expensive for pizza, yes is gourmet but not worth $ 25, and still have to paid for additional toppings.

Yum! The thin crust here is tops! I was down at Pinball Jones for a pinball tournament and we were starving after so we hit this spot up. Pretty chill vibe and the pizza was really good. Best thin crust in Ft Collins that I’ve had!

Everything at Uncles was delicious and the staff were all so nice! Usually I’m not a huge fan of pizza with white sauce, but this place does amazing white sauce pizzas. And pizza with nuts? Incredible. The salad was also fresh and perfectly dressed. The best thing about this place was the staff. We sat at the bar before we were seated and the bartender was very friendly. The waitress we had once we were seated was also very sweet and took care of us. If I lived in Fort Collins I would be eating at Uncles all the time.

Uncles pizza is downright YUMMY. They have several different lunch options, a plethora of customization options, and a great bar menu. My dining companion and I settled on sharing a small margarita pizza and small Caesar salad. The Caesar was quickly brought out and had 3 small croutons set to the side. The salad had 3 polenta croutons and they were delish! I noticed on the menu that you can order more croutons, and next time I would do that. They don’t give the normal crunch of a croûton, but they were a nice addition. The pizza was fresh and we both really enjoyed it. The crust is what got me, though. Ohhhh my gosh! It was probably the best crust I’ve ever had. They have happy hour specials daily, but we were there too early. Based on other reviews, I will be sure to try that out next time. Highly recommend this cute little joint!

We’ve been to uncles many times and had great experiences. This last time however made us rethink coming here on a weekend ever again. It was extremely crowded, the hostess seated us at the big connected table with one seat on either side to separate us from other customers which was fine. We were there for about ten minutes, no service… the hostess then proceeded to seat two couples on either side of us making us extremely cramped. The server finally came and took both of the other couples order before even acknowledging us. As we were not being served and could barely move without hitting the people next to us, we got up and left. I’m writing this in hopes that the management will remedy this seating situation and instruct their staff to deal with these situations more professionally so as to not turn people away from great food.

Everything we ordered was spectacular. Even our house salad was amazing– fresh greens with the best croutons I have ever eaten. The pizza specials were amazing. Their pizza reminded me of the cheeseboard in San Francisco without the 1hr line and plenty of available seating. Definitely some of the best pizza I have ever had!

wowwwzaaaa is this good pizza. I loved the artichoke, white chicken, chicken marsala, and margherita. The arugula citrus walnut special was way too sweet. The salads didn’t have enough toppings. Uncle’s is definitely overpriced but it’s hard to find really great pizza with unique toppings so this is the place to go. They do have a lunch special but I didn’t want salad or a drink– just more pizza! So… I didn’t try it, but it seems fairly economic. I definitely want to try some of their non pizza items next time.

I was EXTREMELY impressed with this place. I can definitely place this pizza on the«top 5 I’ve ever had» list. The margarita pizza is so delicious, I’m salivating as I’m writing this. The sauce was super robust, the cheese tasted so fresh that it seems as if it just got shipped from the farm, and the crust was perfectly crispy. Our service was amazing. Our experience was short since we were running to the Aggie for a show, but I was very happy while we were there and you bet your bottom’s dollar that I’ll be back next time I visit Ft. Collins.

It’s a treat to visit my old stomping ground. My best friend and I headed here for dinner on a Saturday night. There was no wait if we wanted to sit at the bar which we opted for. We ordered the Garlic Cheese Bread and it was so freaking good. 1 order was perfect to share. For entrees we got House Fettuccini Bolognese– so rich, flavorful and a generous serving. And a pizza too, the Margherita– simply and yummy with fresh basil. I highly recommend dining here.
