The Wright Life is an action sports store located in Old Town Fort Collins, Colorado that specializes in disc golf discs and baskets; Ultimate Frisbee discs and supplies; Frisbee dog discs; skateboards and longboards as well as accessories like wheels, bearings and trucks.

We also stock snowboards and bindings from Colorado companies like Never Summer and others, as well as casual apparel and action sports gear and clothing.

History

Established in 1981.

The Wright Life is an action sports store, and has been since it was founded in 1981 by Bill Wright.

Even before The Wright Life was born in 1981 the ground work for the «alternative sports» world was being formed by Bill Wright. The Wright Life has run contests, event promotions, and specialty demonstrations for over 30 years. Creating exciting opportunities for the Fort Collins community and beyond.

A native of Colorado and a top Freestyle Frisbee competitor for over 30 years and counting, Bill & Holly Wright truly live the action sports lifestyle. If its snowing outside, you might find him shoveling the walk outside the Wright Life’s Old Town Fort Collins storefront or shredding the slopes in the mountains of Colorado. Both Bill & Holly have promoted flying disc sports since the beginning of The Wright Life in 1981. Still to this day they run events, leagues and do countless demonstrations.

Best place around to get your hands on some fresh plastic! That’s the kind you throw, as in Disc Golf. I prefer Innova but they have plenty to choose from! The staff is super helpful and will gladly answer any questions you may have. Great place to stop in and ask about upcoming local events! Take a gander in the used bin while you’re there, never know what you might find.

I’m not a disc golf person so I always used to laugh when I walked by this shop. Little did I know this is FTC’s best snowboard gear and apparel shop. The customer service here is amazing and Carl (sale guy) knows more about snowboarding gear than anyone I’ve ever met. He helped me pick out some new Union bindings and a pair of Nike Zoom boots. OMG, the Nike’s are the most comfortable snowboarding boot ever! Thanks Carl!
PS: My buddy rented some new gear here he’s thinking of buying. They rented it to him and then credited the rental price to his account towards any purchase. Locally owned shop that’s been around for decades. Come support this amazing place.

This store is a disc golfers dream. If you are into frolfing, discing or whatevah the hip kids are calling it this minute — you need to go here. I’d bet my lucky driver that there are at least 1,000 discs in this store. And, if you don’t know what you need, all the kids in there — working or not — were more than happy to help figure out the next best disc for my game.
They also have plenty of stuff for snowboarding, skateboarding, yo-​yo-​ing — and all the other hot — yet just left of mainstream –sports. Yep, that’s right, I predict yo-​ing to be the next big thing with all the cool stoner kids.

I love the Wright Life and went there quite frequently back when I was just a boy. They got great skate boards, frisbees and snowboard gear.
They have been around forever and has long outlasted the other skate stores that were around when they first opened and I am sure they will outlast many more. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable on the products.
