One part preschool, one part childcare, our Waldorf Early Childhood Program offers 2 ½ to 5 year olds a nurturing, home-​like environment in which they can explore the wonders, joys, and magic of childhood — pure and simple. Two, three, and five day programs available, as well as full and half day programs.

History

Established in 2006.

River Song Waldorf Early Childhood has been offering child centered, play based activities for nine years. Before that Waldorf education was thriving in Fort Collins as River Song Waldorf School, educating children from ages 5 – 12 with the head heart and hands curriculum.

Meet the Manager

Susan C.

Manager

Susan first came to River Song as a parent, then as a Board member. She began her service as the Administrative Director in 2010. Susan recently completed the Early Childhood Director’s Certificate program required by the State of Colorado. She has a B.A. in International Affairs, University of Colorado, and claims her course work in diplomacy has helped greatly in her professional life. She has two children, both of whom attended River Song.
