History
Established in 1953.
We incorporate sustainability into every project, regardless of size or budget. The client & design team should make decisions together in an integrated process with the environmental input of all building disciplines. The result is increased comfort & productivity of occupants and reduced building energy consumption. By incorporating proper building placement, footprint and massing, site runoff & pollution of ground water is minimized, reducing the building’s environmental impact.
High quality natural day lighting is integrated into every design to reduce the need for electric lighting & to provide users a visual connection to the outdoors. Using optimized ventilation & energy conservation methods is important in creating comfortable, sustainable projects. The materials we select have a significant positive effect on our local & global environment. RB+B’s sustainable buildings teach the users of our facilities environmental stewardship through the building’s design.
