Established in 1986.

Pedestal Source is the fruit of Xylem Design, established in 1986 by founder and CEO Greg Glebe. Since the patent of Greg’s bifold easel in the late 80’s, the company has continued to expand its offering while improving its quality and customer care. In 2012, the company began on its lean journey, following along the footpath of the Toyota Way. Today, we are committed to respect for people, continuous improvement, and mind-​blowing service.

Business Owner

Greg Glebe has spent countless hours designing and building wood-​related projects, with his first projects dating back to elementary school. He now brings his passion and more than 30 years of hands-​on experience to leading the Xylem Design/​Pedestal Source team. Greg specializes in designing, engineering and construction of furniture, ultra-​light aircrafts, countless widgets, and manufacturing equipment. He daily «shows his back» as he leads the company onward along its lean journey.
