Meadowlark Art Studio is dedicated to fostering a process-​based art experience for students of all ages. Students are encouraged to value the process of making art. Feeling the clay in their hands, mixing the paint colors, and exploring various textures in their work. Students are encouraged to relax and let go of their preconceptions and expectations of their artwork. In doing so, they can be more inventive with the materials and reach their hidden potential. Skills and techniques are taught to build confidence and allow students to materialize their visual plan. Come join us and make amazing art in a relaxed studio environment.

Business Owner

My name is Kristen Blaker and I have been an art teacher in the Poudre School District for the past five years. I have an B.A. in psychology and art from Skidmore College and a M.A. in Education from Colorado State University. I have taught art at both the middle school and elementary levels. I love empowering others to create art! Teaching art is my passion and a way for me to make a difference in others lives. In my personal artwork, I concentrate mostly in ceramics but love exploring new techniques, materials, and mediums.
