Magic Bus Tours

This tour was truly magical! My in-​laws and I happened to be the only people to book the tour that day and Murphy was still willing to give us the full experience in his Subaru Outback (this is Colorado after all) instead of the bus.
He was so friendly and informative! He asked us what our preferences were at the beginning and made excellent recommendations while we were choosing which beers to taste. We went to Equinox, New Belgium, and Pateros Creek. I thought it was really cool to see a tiny little place like Equinox followed by a huge company like New Belgium, then end the day with another small local spot. I had actually been trying to get into a New Belgium tour but couldn’t find any openings for months! It was so awesome that he was able to get us into that tour.
Needless to say, I had a nice little buzz going by the end of it and Murphy even offered us snacks. I’d say that if you like beer and want to drink/​learn some fun facts then you’ll love this tour!

We took the brewery tour and, WOW, Murphy impressed us with his knowledge about the local brewers and the history of beer. He was very enthusiastic and entertaining. We visited three breweries and he led one of the behind-​the-​scenes brewery tours that was by far more entertaining and knowledgeable than the other «official «tours. The experience was worth every penny! How great is it to get chauffeured around in a cool air– conditioned bus and drink all your favorite beers and find some new favorites and meet new «beer» friends.

We had a great experience on the Magic Bus Brewery Tour! The owner is knowledgeable, passionate about beer. It is a must do if you are visiting Fort Collins!

Excellent experience with Magic Bus Tours! We joined Murphy on a Sunday for a walking brewery tour and was extremely impressed with the tour he provided. Giving you VIP service at the brewery’s with behind the scenes tours, in depth taste tests and knowledge about the whole craft.
If you want to explore a few of Fort Collins breweries this is the way to go, especially to see New Belgium Brewery as he has a connection to get on their tour even though the day is totally booked

We did the walking tour of Old Town with Murphy and it was well worth it! He was very knowledgeable of the area and brought along old photographs of key locations. It was fun and entertaining! It was our first visit to Fort Collins and we’re so glad we did this tour!

I bought tickets for my boyfriends birthday. Prior to buying them I wrote a question on the site and Murphy responded immediately! I knew this was going to be a good experience based on the timely response I received. The tour itself was awesome! Murphy is a very nice guy. Very personable and friendly! I loved how enthusiastic he was even though I know he’s done the tour many many times! He was our tour guide for the day. Patrick, our driver was also very nice! At the small breweries, (we went to a total of three different breweries), he sat down with us and asked us the type of beers we liked and then brought us flights of beer based off of the info we gave him! The bus had water and pretzels on it which was nice for the ride in between the breweries. We really really enjoyed ourselves! I would highly recommend this tour for locals and non locals! Murphy and Patrick were wonderful hosts! We were more than happy with the experience and will probably bring our friends and do it again!

Our party of 9 did the craft brewery tour to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday and it was just amazing from start to finish! Murphy, the «Director of Fun», was knowledgeable, entertaining, and so easy going. We got rowdy at times but he handled it like a champ. The limo bus itself is awesome: cool paint, large, comfortable, and well stocked with snacks and water. We definitely got our money’s worth in beers on the tours. We visited Equinox, New Belgium, and Pateros Creek; all great breweries. Our group ranged from beer snobs to lightweights and there was something for everyone at each place. Highly recommended for large parties. My fiancé loved it and he even got a gift at the end from Murphy which was a really nice touch. Thanks Murphy for an unforgettable party!

Highly recommend. Enjoyable and worry-​free tour in which I learned more than I thought I would. Worth the drive from Denver.

Went on the tour with my wife and mother-​in-​law in the past month. What a great surprise!!!
The owner of the company was our guide. He was very knowledgeable about beer, the local brew scene, and came up with great recommendations and samples for our tour group as a whole. We stopped at 3 different breweries, though I was told they change/​rotate all the time.
My family and I really enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure in the Ft. Collins area. And if you like beer, it’s even better.

What an awesome way to celebrate the Fourth of July! This was my first brewery tour, and wow – our tour guide (and the company’s owner) Murphy set the bar incredibly high!
We visited several local breweries where Murphy gave in-​depth descriptions and private tours of the beer-​making process, and we learned about the origins of craft beer. But the tour wasn’t all talk – we tasted some incredible beers (from several chili beers to IPA’s to dark lagers) and had a ton of fun along the way!
This tour is well worth the time and money. I know my husband and I will book ourselves another Magic Bus tour the next time we’re in Ft. Collins!

Our party went on the local history tour. It usually is on Saturdays and Sundays but we called before coming to Fort Collins and he was willing to have a special tour on a Tuesday. The tour was fantastic. He went all over Oldtown, out by the reservoir, at which we stopped and had a break, and ended up going around the old part of Colorado State University campus.
He had a lot of good stories and was very entertaining.

I took the Old Town Walking Tour with my girlfriends on a Sunday. Just so happened there was a running event in town so Old Town was in full swing! Our tour guide, Murphy, was so friendly and knowledgeable about how Ft Collins began to where it is today. Ive lived in Ft Collins off and on since 1972 and found out interesting things about it’s history and some of the folks from the past which some of our streets are named after. I saw things in Old Town that Ive not seen before which I was pleasantly surprised existed! Walking down the alleys of Old Town offers history and a different perspective of what I was used to seeing. A history lesson of some of the buildings in Old Town was very interesting as well. I highly recommend this tour on a nice afternoon for an hour of one’s time. It’s money well spent and would be a great activity to take visiting guests on. Im interested in doing the Brewery Tour sometime this summer and the Farm to Table tour as well.

Did this tour as a friends bachelor party. By far the best bachelor party I’ve ever done. I’ve done the gentlemen clubs, private shows, etc., but those get so cliched.
The tour guide is very friendly and arranged for brewery tours at each stop. He took us to the mega brew places (O’Dell’s), local establishments, and the garages sampling flights at each stop. I highly recommend doing this tour for any hop head or even if you’re just looking for something to do on a weekend.

Great tour guide and wonderful beer. Very laid back, relaxing and all around fun! Can’t wait to bring friends on the beer tour.

Over Labor Day weekend I surprised my wife with an anniversary trip to Fort Collins to see Colorado for the first time, visit her best friends and of course a chance for me to taste some great Colorado beer! I was a little hesitant in signing both my wife and I for this tour since she is not an avid beer drinker like my self but man was it worth it. The owner workered with me and he did a fantastic job on the tour. He made the whole experience very fun, educational and worth the money. Even my wife had a great time and thats saying something!

I was visiting from the East Coast, so I figured lots of beer + altitude + bikes = recipe for disaster. So we took the lazy man’s way out and did a shuttle tour with Magic Bus. Very happy we made the decision. Our tour was the highlight of our «brew-​cation». Note — tour cost includes tastings (which was not clear on the website).
