Specialties

We offer Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Clogging, Hip Hop, Combo, Adult Classes and Contemporary dance styles to customers all across Northern Colorado.

HCCD provides dancers with beautiful, modest costumes for a low monthly fee. If a child grows, changes groups, etc., HCCD will adjust their costume at no cost to you.

HCCD has a levels program and a strict curriculum that is followed which keeps dancers on the right track. Regular evaluations and report cards are mailed home every other month to inform the parents/​students of the progress being made.

HCCD considers it vital to have highly qualified instructors who have developed their expertise through graduate dance degrees, national certification, or vast experience within their chosen field of dance.

History

Established in 1999.

High Country Conservatory of Dance has risen from its humble beginnings in a neighborhood garage to become a nationally recognized studio known for its creativity, strong technique, choreography, power, precision, and amazing costumes. HCCD has performed and competed at the highest levels, receiving many prestigious awards. Performances over the years have included shows in Italy, Taiwan, Missouri (Branson), California, Florida, Nevada, Texas, as well as at many venues in the state of Colorado. Recently, HCCD’s dancers were featured on the hit NBC show, «America’s Got Talent.»

HCCD’s Directors, Rick & Michelle Meehleis, were inducted into the NCHC «All Star Hall of Fame,» and were honored in front of the House of Representatives for their contribution to the arts and the youth in their area.
