Love the ambiance! The porch outside with fire pits is so amazing. It’s the best for getting tapas, sharing a bottle of wine, and enjoying the evening. The cheese plate is tasty!

Great atmosphere, with very comfortable seating. Wonderful attentive staff. Had the stuffed challah French toast. It was excellent, light, fluffy, and flavorful. Quality Thick cut bacon. Maple syrup not corn syrup. With a nice Earl Grey to drink. Very impressed!

Love the brunch, love the dinner, love the apps, love the wine and the desserts are yummy as well very romantic and the service is great inside and out.
Just can’t say enough good about Café Vino.

A great spot to chill and enjoy a glass of wine. Grab a bite to eat from their Heath-​minded menu. A no fail date night or place to gather with your more «refined» friends. A must –stop if you are visiting The Fort!

The food is decent, but not worth the price you pay. They have nice, large tables, which makes it ideal for a group, but there are other great places for groups in Fort Collins.

Stopped by for Brunch and was treated to happy employees, easy-​going ambiance, and incredible food.
I had the Huevos Rancheros. Amazing palette of flavors and textures. Every bite was light as a cloud but filling you up quickly.
My daughter had the Stuffed Challah French Toast. A bit sweet but delightful! The Bacon served with it is simply a «spiritual experience.»
Gotta try this place.

A bit skimpy on the wine by the glass pours, so order a bottle instead. Bacon wrapped dates were a good starter and we enjoyed the mushroom/​spinach pizza. Service was a bit spacey.

Our appetizer was the meat pizza and it was great. We all thought what a great start to a meal.
Next came my ahi tuna salad which was underwhelming. The bottom of the bowl had a pool of oil which was tough to stomach the whole thing. One of my coworkers had the soup of the day which he referred to as water.
We figured the entrée would redeem the salads and soup.
They came out looked great but just didn’t have the spark of taste we were all looking for.
To sum it up we asked one of our coworkers «would you get that again» (referring to his main dish) and he simply said to answer yes or no would imply I’ll be back to the restaurant.

You get a very elegant feel once you walk in… We came on a sunny beautiful day and sat outside… The bathroom was clean and modern… Our waitress, Heather, recommended the Colorado Mule which was splendid! We got the specials. The tacos and the pasta… They were excellent and we would definitely come back! :)

I made a reservation for a group of 5 ladies on a Saturday afternoon. I was hosting a very informal bridal shower and the staff was very helpful and accommodating to my needs for the afternoon. The restaurant was big with some great seating areas with big leather chairs. Very cool atmosphere.
We started with bottomless mimosas, which were amazing! I also had a cup of coffee, which is much needed for me in the late afternoon. The coffee was soooo good!
We ordered a few pizzas and starters. The food was really great!

I love this restaurant. We have been three different times, and sat on the patio twice. I love sitting outside when it is warm, the patio has a great atmosphere. It is also a very fun place for groups.
Most recently, we went for my mother’s birthday with a group of 12. We sat inside in a more private area and our waitress was very nice. Most of us shared tapas and a few got individual plates. We got to try almost everything. Bacon wrapped dates are the best ever! I didn’t taste anything I didn’t like.
When I initially made the reservation, they asked if we were celebrating and asked if we wanted to order a cake. So we ordered a chocolate and raspberry cake that fed 10 – 12 and was $ 40. It was worth it, it was a great cake and made the day really feel like her birthday.
It is spendy, so be prepared to spend money when you go but it is worth it, and an amazing place for groups or dates!

Came here for Mother’s Day this morning. There was nothing bad, and nothing exceptional about this place.
The seating was very dark where they placed us. My eggs Benedict was an incredibly small portion and the flavor was nothing special, I put hot sauce on it because the hollandaise was not very flavorful. My step dad got to daily special French toast and loved it. My chai was also not particularly special.
Our waiter Eric delivered good service. We might come back but will probably try another place next time.

If you are looking for a quick spot for dinner– move along. This place does tapas and wine like nobody’s business. The bacon wrapped dates are the best in town (it’s the bleu cheese they’re stuffed with) and while the cheese plate can’t live up to the Welsh Rabbit in terms of selection, it rivaled it in quality. The wine list is GIANT, which is refreshing for a town so obsessed with beer. This is a great place for a date or a relaxing night with friends, as the waitstaff is attentive but not overbearing.
The only reason I did not give them a 5-​star review is the entrées — they’re only seafood and pasta. And yet, some of their tapas are sold in such a way that they could easily be plated into entrées (example: beef with sweet potatoes and mushroom salad). If they could find a way to incorporate lamb lollipops into an entrée, I’d be sold.

The service was truly phenomenal. The water was always full, and the waitress was super nice. We started with a couple cocktails. I was not a huge fan of either one. The mushroom pâté was good, but a little bland. The butternut squash soup was very good. I had the potato gnocchi, which was fantastic. It was light, but perfectly flavored. My friend got the ravioli, which was also really good, but a little sweet for my taste.
For dessert we had the infamous toffee cake, which did not let us down. It was truly stupendous. I would go back just for this.

This restaurant is very nice. The food is flavored well and presented well. The staff is very nice; the atmosphere is also. We had an espresso, eggs Benedict, and a piece of grapefruit pie, and all three of them were quite wonderful.
I highly recommend giving it a try if you are in the area.

I visited Café Vino while on a work trip to Ft. Collins. I was by myself, but after reading the reviews of Café Vino, decided to give it a try. The hostess was incredibly friendly, and gave me two options for places to sit — one in the middle of things and one more secluded in case I wanted a bit more quiet.
I started with the bacon wrapped dates, which were great. I’ve had bacon wrapped dates elsewhere, and felt that the bacon was a bit overpowering because it was thick cut. From there I proceeded to devour ²⁄₃ of a Pizza Louie («sliced pears, smoked bacon, Moody Blue cheese mozzarella, finished with local honey») because it was AMAZING! The pears and honey were a little bit of sweet, and the bacon/​cheeses were a little bit of savory, and the crust reminded me of the flavor of biscuits without the heft!
For dessert I got the toffee date cake because of the raves in other reviews. I had to take it to-​go because I was so stuffed, but unfortunately it didn’t re-​heat as well as I’d hoped. Next time, I’ll try it fresh.
I did find the place to be a bit on the pricier side, but with the ambiance, excellent service and great flavors, it’s warranted. I would certainly visit again and will recommend it to friends who happen to be visiting Ft. Collins in the future.

If you’re ever in the mood for an excellent breakfast/​brunch but aren’t in the mood for lines and crowds at other popular places in town, go to Café Vino. Their brunch menu is like a hidden gem in Fort Collins. Though the morning menu isn’t twelve pages long, what they serve is incredibly good and comparable in price to other places. Plus, you’re likely to get the best seat in the house with few people around to cramp your style. It’s quite awesome, really.
They have a stuffed french toast of the day. It’s legit. DO it. The duck confit is a great dish if you really want to savor your brunch and not just scarf down a column of carbs. I actually think most items on the menu are like that. Another cool thing is that they have all the yummy cocktails you can find elsewhere, plus more, and many of them better. /​brunch rave
Tapas aren’t as cool. Bacon-​wrapped dates were tasty but dense. The first peppadew was interesting, but exhausted the palate too quickly. I can’t remember much else about the other ones I’ve tried. Other dinner items are pretty good and done well, but nothing mind-​blowing.
Service here has a more sophisticated feel. It’s very nice, but not quite my groove. I appreciate service and courtesy, but I also enjoy real people. Sierra the bartender is pretty cool. The atmosphere is the same way — enjoyable, but superficial.

This place rocks. I brunched here with 3 other ladies and we really enjoyed ourselves. The Benedict really stood out– pancetta on sweet potatos cakes with caramelized onions, kale, mushrooms, and a healthy dose of hollandaise. I also loved everything else that I sampled– seasonal donuts (with fresh fruit & pastry cream– I wanted to stuff so many of these in my purse they were so good), coffee cake, huevos rancheros, quiche, pork belly & grits. You can’t go wrong!
We also loved their brunch booze offerings. The carrot-​infused vodka in their garden bloody was crazy good. Mimosas had a lot of options which was fun.
This will be my first stop the next time I’m back in Fort Collins!

In town for the week for work, this place was suggested to me by my colleagues. We ventured out for dinner, and we were not disappointed!
Being a wine bar and all, I had to get my favorite, the Moscato. I was surprised to see they only had a Spanish moscato, though. It wasn’t quite as good as the Italians I usually drink, but not bad. For food:
— Bacon-​wrapped dates: These are all the rage in San Diego, and I was pleased to see them on the menu here. Get a large portion — you’re going to devour these babies quickly.
— Bruschetta: Pretty good, not great.
— Cold-​smoked salmon: This dish was slightly confusing as far as how to go about eating it, but it was super tasty. Just don’t expect a plank of salmon!
— Mussels: These were GREAT. So yummy!
— Margherita pizza: The flavor was lacking, although the crust was pretty scrumptious.
— Toffee date cake: GET THIS. Do not pass go, do not collect $ 200! You need this in your life; you just don’t know it yet.
Service was really friendly. The atmosphere was really quaint and cozy, and I was surprised at how busy it was for a Monday night! This would be a lovely spot for a date night.

I continue to give Café Vino the highest star rating. While I acknowledge that not everything on their menu is stellar (my palate loathes the goat cheese stuffed peppadews), they more than make up for it in the following ways:
Service: Last minute phone in for a group of 15, not only accommodated, but accommodated well via a grouping of couches, chairs and benches near the fireplace. Also, shout out to our waitress Casey who was spot on with food/​beverage recommendations, enthusiasm, attentiveness and keeping the tab straight when there are 15+ plus of us continuously ordering food and drink in no particular order.
Food: Artisan cheese plate ($ 17) featured some nice selections, bacon wrapped dates ($ 9) were well presented and tasty and gluten free pizza (mushroom $ 17, café vino $ 16) was actually good (even though there’s a $ 2 upcharge). The toffee cake ($ 9) continues to be the answer to «eat your feelings» and you really do want to just order than to-​go so you could secret eat in solace, on the couch, while watching some sort of Bravo marathon on a Sunday morning, in your PJs.
Liquid: Lovely wine selection. While the price of bottles can wreck havoc on your wallet, if you’re of the motto that «life is too short to drink bad wine», then it’s not too shocking ($ 62/​bottle for 2005 Lan Reserva Rioja — decanted if you’d like, but opens quite quickly and very nicely). Also, a nice selection of cocktails, beers and liquors for the connoisseurs of those options.
Overall, I continue to be pleased with my visits at Café Vino. Yes, there have been misses, but overall, the pros continue to outweigh the cons.
