As much as I enjoyed visiting the Airborne & Special Operations museum in downtown Fayetteville, wanted to visit this museum as it would have some unique items that weren’t available downtown. It does. Off of Normandy drive, the SW museum was easy to get to. Free admission, they had some outdoor exhibits. Relatively small on the inside, museum had some unique exhibits pertaining to Special Forces, Psychological Operations, and Civil Affairs. In addition to historical antecedents, WWI, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam, Son Tay Raid, Grenada, Panama, Desert Storm, they have a very extensive post 9 – 11 exhibit. Enjoyable and highly recommended if you’re visiting Fort Bragg.
