We specialize in exotic cottons and silks, quitling fabrics, sustainable and organic fabrics, silk ribbons, trims from India and France and a large selection of fabric paints, dyes and tools for textile arts. You’ll find a variety of Ethnic fabrics such as Australian Aboriginal fabrics, authentic Japanese prints, Asian themes, a rainbow of batik fabrics and hand loomed fabrics from India. We have silk paints, textile paints and Procion dyes for tie dyeing and Acid dyes for wool and silk. We ship worldwide Monday through Friday.

Established in 2001.

Retail store began in 2001 in a 500 square foot space in rural Fort Bragg, California. After 13 years of moves and mutations and with the increase of website business, the decision was made to close the store front and continue to specialize in sustainable choices and quality textiles from around the world. Now with a large online customer base we ship daily all over the globe. Inspiring creative people in many countries.

My family and I popped into this store over the 4th of July weekend. They have a small selection of fabics & trims, beading supplies, patterns, buttons, painting supplies, and books. Although there is only a little bit of everything, what they do have is well chosen and of excellent quality. My Mom, Sister and I all walked away with something. The person who waited on us was knowledgeable and patient, which makes for an excellent combination. the onloy reason I’m not giving this place a 5th star is because of the limited selection. otherwise, it is excellent all around.

For a long time I’ve been hanging around fabric stores while my wife looks through the collections of material. Usually this is not too pleasant an experience for me.
However, at Fabric Indulgence, I don’t mind.
Once or twice a year when we are in Fort Bragg, we stop at Fabric Indulgence. l spend a lot of time looking at art supplies and sometimes I buy some, and my wife almost always finds some great fabrics for her latest sewing projects.
Over the past year or two, the emphasis on art seems to be dropping, but the fabrics are still great.
This is the third location of Fabric Indulgence we’ve visited over the years. It’s next to Harvest Market in the Boatyard Shopping Center. It seems to be a much better location than the earlier ones, and should result in more fabric and art shoppers.
And for the spouse who might not want to hang around a fabric store too much, Harvest Market provides adequate distraction.
