Brock’s Riverwalk Tavern and Grill

The atmosphere was awesome and the service was very good. We went for lunch and got a table overlooking the river. Nice. Menu looked very enticing but the sandwiches were mediocre. I got the chicken salad and would have liked more chicken. Others in my group also had sandwiches and we all agreed that the house made chips and onion rings were wonderful. We are anxious to go back again for dinner specially in warmer weather to check out the outdoor seating. Parking was no problem.

I don’t know what’s up with Megan’s review, sounds like a completely different place. As a result of her negative review, Brock’s didn’t even show up on our radar. But we were driving by, it was open, and we went for it.
So very happy we did.
First, the service is outstanding. A very sweet hostess and attentive waiter who kept tabs on us. Felt very taken care of.
They have a wide selection of beers on tap and bottled. I went for a Wisconsin brew of Capitol Amber, very nice.
I’d never been to WI before, cheese is a thing they do here. We started with buffalo wings & fried cheese curds. Diet out the window, but super delicious.
I then had the baked salmon fillet, on a nice bed of rice and grilled fresh veggies. Really good, with a flavorful white sauce as well.
«Would you like to look at the desserts?» «Yeah why not?» were words that sent us down a rabbit hole of flavor. 6 at the table, so we just decided to get them all and have a taste of each.
Peach Cobbler: Outstanding
Bread Pudding: Whoa
Flourless Chocolate Cake: Yes
Caramel Basket with white chocolate & berries: A marvel
Cheesecake: I’ve never had a more perfect cheesecake in my lifetime
I somehow found myself in Fort Atkinson, and happened upon Brock’s. Delicious food, appreciative staff, awesome décor. I’ll be back

I gave the food a try since we enjoy the bar and they have cheap drinks (very weak drinks). The food was awful!!! Never ever eating there again, was so disappointed. We tried the mozzarella sticks which were meh and we only got THREE for $ 7 ! What a rip off !! Our main courses were worse. My chicken had no seasoning was very bland and seemed like it was heated in the microwave, my salad was awful. My husbands burger was bland and didn’t taste fresh at all, and his fries were not seasoned right and seemed like they were microwaved. Not going back there ever again.

I am a server/​trainer/​manager at Del Friscos NYC, the number 1 steakhouse in NYC.
Ate at Brock’s here tonight with a group of 8. Their second Saturday open. There were some hitches in the service but day 2 I’m not upset. They were friendly to the kids and weren’t obtrusive in the meal.
The prime rib was fantastic. I love a good prime rib. My girlfriends prime rib sandwich was banging!!! We will definitely be back and I hope this place succeeds.
White table cloths. High ceilings overlooking the river. I’ll eat here again with in the week.
Please get some sorbet. I like a scoop after dinner.
