I really don’t see this mall lasting much longer. It has a Ross, but that’s about it. Lots of empty spaces. Some of the stores might be too niche to succeed. If you like shoes, there’s a Von Maur. My wife and mother get lost in there easily.

Heyworth, IL
Ghost mall. Half (close to half) of mall is empty retail spots. Go to Champaign or Springfield for stores like Pink, Victoria’s secret, and such. Hickory Point has Kohl’s, Bergners, Hobby Lobby, Bath and Body, MC Sports, American Eagle, etc. Best store is Von Maur.
Someone needs to revamp Decatur’s amd Forsyth’d economy (like lower sales taxes, property taxes, labor, etc). Local gov pats themselves on the back… but for a reality check, walk inside the dead local mall. (Then go visit Champaign, Springfield malls. Vast difference!).
