The Cosmic Cookie Jar

I’ve never had a Cosmic Cookie Jar baked good that I didn’t like! Everything is gluten-​free and oh-​so-​delicious. Cheesecakes are legit and their scones are unbelievable!

The Cosmic Cookie Jar is currently without a retail location, however you can find them — and their delicious baked goods — at the Sebastopol Farmer’s Market and (as I just read from their website) on alternating Friday’s at the Occidental Bohemian Farmer’s Market.
This is a gluten-​free bakery.
I’ve been sampling their various creations over the past several months — especially the bagels! — and have been delighted with them. Everything is well made and flavorful. I could rhapsodize for several paragraphs about their bagels and other items but my best recommendation is to go try them for yourself. However arrive before noon as the bagels are generally gone by then and nearly everything they have in the booth is gone before 1pm. So I think I’m safe in saying that I am not alone in my opinion.
To those of you on a gluten-​free diet their bagels are hands down the best I’ve run across since going gluten free over twenty years ago. I’ve missed a proper bagel too. They are the proper texture — inside and out — and bursting with flavor. They also stand up well to toppings!
You can pre-​order yours for pick-​up by calling a few days in advance. Which will forestall being disappointed when you arrive to discover someone else has absconded with the treats! Both owners will explain how when you meet them at the booth.
