Specialties

Mirabel Park is a family friendly campground and RV park at the Russian River for people who wish to get away from everyday stresses. It is located on the Russian River and Mark West Creek, and offers individual campsites and the «Club» area down by the creek for large groups.

Sonoma County is a popular destination for hikers, bicyclists and those who treasure the peace and tranquility to be found in nature. Mirabel Park offers a place where families can bond over campfires or out on the water in canoes & kayaks, and by making day trips to nearby attractions like Armstrong Woods & Safari West, or visiting the abundant wineries, the great restaurants, farmer’s markets and the coast.

Speer’s Market, a fully-stocked market with a deli, is just two blocks away. Burke’s Canoes is right next door. The little village of Forestville is less than two miles from Mirabel Park, and features a coffee shop, a bakery, wine-tasting, several excellent restaurants and a drive-in burger joint.

History

Established in 1960.

Back in the late 1830’s Mirabel Park was the site of Cooper’s Sawmill, the first water-powered sawmill in the state of California.

In the 1930’s & 40’s Mirabel Park had a dance floor built over the water which hosted legendary bandleaders like Benny Goodman and Lionel Hampton. Family-owned for over 50 years, the park has been a popular summer weekend and vacation spot for five generations. We also have families who rent for the entire season just for their weekend getaway! They come to Mirabel Park to relax and leave the hustle & bustle behind.

Family reunions, weddings, concerts, company hosted functions, various types of ceremonies and memorial services have been held on the lovely grounds of Mirabel Park.

The Russian River area of northern California offers a variety of relaxing activities to do such as, hiking, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, wine tasting, picnicing, fishing, biking, or just hanging out with the family!
