Just average. Good crunchy tacos… nasty tasteless taco salad. Guacamole is fresh and yummy. Very expensive for pre made Mexican.

This is literally some of the grossest over price Mexican food in Sonoma county. I’ve been in there several times because I live in the area and my kid like it(she 6). Its the only place that charges $ 8 for a kids bean and rice only burrito. I order a 1 taco last time because I already new I didn’t like their burrito. The taco was $ 3.50 for meat cilantro & onion, I wanted sour cream on the taco which they charge an extra $ 1.50. Now this isn’t even a restaurant either its a market with a few tables. If it was really good I’d pay the price but the food is tasteless and old . I’ve been to almost every Mexican restaurant in west Sonoma county and LA Rosa is the worst.

They should just call this place la rosa taqueria, I too came here thinking they would have grocery items and all they had was a wall full of beverages. Food is overpriced, I was expecting it to at least be somewhat decent, unfortunately it’s the only Mexican joint around here besides driving to Santa Rosa. Do not recommend, if I’m going to pay almost three bucks for a taco it better taste like a three dollar taco.

Non nom! GOODFOOD! I like to call ahead, and pick up our food now & then. But I usually just stop in, order & wait. They are pretty fast! They have a nice salsa bar selection, and a big refrigerator case filled with every drink option you can imagine in bottles and cans, and more. This is a local family business that I love to support! The people there are nice and friendly, and efficient. We go often.

You won’t find a bigger, tastier wet burrito in the area. Made from some of the nicest folks around. A great, family-run taqueria.

If there ever was passion here it is long gone. Every time I eat her I say never again. The limited choices in Forestville keep me coming back. The child likes a stripped down burrito with lettuce. They charge me $ 1 for lettuce. I have ordered most everything and it is all bland. I am amazed to see good reviews for this place. I think the owner went on auto pilot long ago. Please wake up and start serving some good food!

Love this place. Great local spot run by such a nice family. We eat here about once a week and have tried everything on the menu.

Although I’ve never been inside of this establishment, a friend of mine got me a steak burrito a few days back and… Damn!!! That was an awesome burrito! Very fresh ingredients and the guacamole(which is my favorite part of any burrito) was delicious! Excellent job!!! Can’t wait to come and try everything else on the menu :)

Tacos are EXPENSIVE at $ 3 and not very good. You can get better tacos for $ 2.25 at Farolito in Sebastopol or $ 1.50 at the Guerneville Taco Truck. Also, I got a 12 oz Dr Pepper here the other day and it was $ 2.75. What?!? It’s also NOT a market. It’s basically a taqueria with soda and beer for sale. If some place calls itself a market I expect them to have grocery items — nope. There’s nothing here but a big empty space.

Excellent breakfast burrito. Pretty consistent and good asada. I really haven’t explored the menu outside of a carne asada or pastor burrito and the breakfast burrito. Owners are very friendly and great service.

Burrito was tasteless. Staff was friendly by slow. Salsa was good. Chips were okay. No atmosphere but they have a nice TV.

My husband and I come here every weekend for lunch when we are taking a break from working on our house down by the river. The food is great, filling, and inexpensive. The best part about this place though is the staff and the SALSA. The place is a family-run business with the mom and dad owners always there, along with at least one of their kids behind the counter as well. The have a great relationship with the regulars and are always smiling! Now for the salsa– it is unbelievable! My mother-in-law drinks the stuff it’s that good. They have hot and mild and even though I tend to find mild salsas boring, this stuff is to die for.

I drive through Forestville pretty often since I live up in Cazadero. I’ve only had breakfast burritos here, but they are probably some of the best ones in this part of Sonoma County. The guy working is always cool and conversational. I always head for the pile of newspapers at the window counter while I wait… I like stopping in here. I recommend for at lead breakfast burritos.

Pretty solid burritos here. Atmosphere is nothing to speak of, but we always get takeout. But the staff is friendly, food is good and prices are reasonable. Close to our house, this is a good choice for a quick takeout meal.

SO expensive for what it is! But the flavors and seasoning are good and it all tastes like it should. Another restaurant that needs some competition to come along and show them why burrito counters are everyone’s favorite cheap meal– when they are cheap, that is. This one is NOT.

I was working in the area. The kid had a bad attitude he basically thru my chips at me as well as my change. I thought it would be good. First of all he didn’t wash his hands after I gave him the money. I seen the kid put my food in the microwave. seriously? I got a asada quesadilla. was very plain. Worst quesadilla iv ever tried. Don’t come here! Asada was disgusting ! I kno there’s not much out here but dang I feel bad for those of you who live near by.

This review is solely based on the veggie burrito. At $ 9, it’s a little pricey, but it was pretty good… though totally standard: pinto beans, lettuce, rice, guac, tomatoes/pico de gallo, sour cream and cheese. Nothing special, nothing fancy. Size-wise, it was about 10 inches with a good girth. The chips that come with it are standard as well, nothing out of the ordinary, and they have a small/decent salsa bar. I feel Chipotle veggie burritos are a better value/better ingredients, but if you find yourself hungry in Forestville, this will do. Place is clean and pretty big, plenty of seating, lots of light.

The best Al Pastor I have ever had! I am a HUGE fan of Al Pastor(barbecue pork) and unless I am at a «taco truck», I am not able to find it. This is a family run operation and they know how to make excellent Mexican comfort food. If you are clear with what you want, they will make the meal to fit your wants!

They have a vegetarian section on their menu and yet their rice has chicken stock and the staff totally doesn’t care. Boo. No burritos for me then and their quesadillas are just so so.

After a long early morning tasting, we need a break from wine. We can to downtown Forestville and needed a snack. We knew this place would be amazing or real dumpy. It far exceeded our expectations. This place is the real deal! We had steak tacos with guac and sour cream. They have a little salsa bar and complimentary chips.
