Food — place was closing so couldn’t order. Will review and update at a later time. Service — I guess it’s one of those bars that don’t have waitresses or being close to closing, they all left for the night. But the bartender was helpful and got me my American pint. She filled the pint glass nicely with a bit of head. Well done, and her with a nice smile. Etc — its a dive pub. Not sure about the Irish part of it, but j do know one thing, a bunch of us at near what might be the basement and it stunk a bit of sewage. Don’t sit near the back if the pub to enjoy this place better. Will have to come back again to evaluate this better.

Great selection of beer. Very selective menu. Great chill spot. Why am I giving it two stars?! Because I’m disappointed with my order of food. I ordered the jalapeño burger. I clearly explained twice no onions! And the waitress repeated it back. When my plate came; my burger was full of grilled onions. I could have been allergic to onions. Like how hard was it to not put onions! On top of that, the burger had no taste. A little seasoning would have not hurt. My partner ordered the baked mac n cheese, which was really good. And the sweet potato fries were okay. Not bad at all. I hope my next visit is better. But this place overall is a good quick chill spot.

i have a lot of fun here. the food is great. always ask about the specials. i eat/drink here more often than i’d like to admit. the beer is cold, served in a frosty cup. i notice i’ve been spoiled by frosted cups when i go drink elsewhere. i kinda hate Unilocal, just came here to giggle about one of the bad reviews. :) –robert

Worst customer service. Didn’t follow Red Bull protocol and refused to serve more drinks because of it. Claiming«too drunk» after only one drink and refusing service to us. This is the dive upon all dives. Do not enter if you are a local. We are even twice a week regulars and were one of the locals. Well twice a week no more. Our favorite servers should get a new job because we don’t plan on returning.

The manager of the bar took a drink out of a Customers hand and threw it at her face while calling her a horrible name when she agreed with one of the employees of the bar that he was a disrespectful server. Clearly an underlying disruption within management of this bar. We have had so many great times here until this night. While leaving, the man working the door asked if we were leaving. We stated that we were due to management being disrespectful and he agreed by saying«yup not surprised» EXTREMELYPOORCOSTUMERSERVICEANDTOTALDISRESPECTFROM A MANAGER never have I been at a bar where anyone has been treated this way. Clearly this manager has anger issues that need to be addressed

We were there for a private party on the patio and they do great parties! The food was a good selection of pulled pork, egg rolls, and quesadillas. The beer service was spot on. I recommend it for a party!

The burger special on Tuesday was one of the driest pieces of garbage and I requested medium. If you cant cook a burger you shouldn’t offer food.

Great environment with old Chicago charm. The staff is on point and polite. One of the best chicken Caesar wraps I’ve ever had! Great mix of other food options too. Who knew an Irish bar would have such good tacos as well!

This is a great neighborhood bar located on the«strip» of bars and restaurants on Madison in Forest Park, IL. They have a good beer selection and food is good quality for bar food. 8 big screen tv’s for the sports fans. They have weekly specials. My favorite is the Tuesday night special. All draft beers and ales for $ 3.50 a pint plus a $ 5.00 half pound burger! Can’t go wrong with that! Also, the staff is very friendly and attentive. A great place for a casual night out. You may have to walk a little as parking is a bit crowded in the area.

I really cannot say anything bad about this bar/restaurant. I know it may sound stupid, but just asking if you want«everything» on the burger is great! So many places don’t inform you that they put pickles, grilled onions, etc. on the burger when it does not say so on the menu, or you have overlooked it! I was appreciative of this, seeing as I hate grilled onions. I’m mainly reviewing this place because of the great service. I have had not so great service in FP, because let’s face it, ut is chock-full of young people who are not yet aware of how to tip! My bf and I look super young, yet we had amazing service! The only thing is I had wished our server would have told us his name, because I would have mentioned it in this review. I should include that right off the bat he told us about beers, and did not BS us into drinking pricier beers. He could not have known, but I drink crafts regularly and used to Work with 36 handles. This was much appreciated! I like when people are welcoming despite the age they may think you are ! I will be back! Good food and great service, cheers!

Love coming here for Sunday brunch with my boyfriend! $ 4 bloody Mary’s and delicious food. Pork sandwich is delicious along with the steak sandwich. We always have the same female server, I forgot her name but she’s super great and always attentive. Beer, alcohol selection specials are always great. Definitely my go to place if I’m hungry and don’t want to cook.

Been coming to O’Sully’s for years and it’s a pretty nice place to hang out. Good selection of booze and beer, food is good and atmosphere is pretty chill(and douche-bag free, lol) compared to some the other bars on Madison. I really like the beer garden, which is great for just relaxing with friends and people watch on a nice night. The place isn’t that big and can get crowded but otherwise it’s one of the better establishments on the strip in FP.

Been here a few times, for dinner, for drinks, to hang out and to meet people. They’ve got a good menu, enough beers to keep you coming back and a nice bar. Seems a lot of regulars go here, but never feel unwelcome. Enough televisions to justify checking it out if three’s a game you want to see and dont want to watch it at home. Good specials.

O’Sullivan’s has become my goto bar on Madison St. when I just can’t decide exactly what I want. The staff is always extremely friendly. They introduce themselves by name and genuinely make you feel welcome. The beer is cold, and the food is… well, «pub standard» BUTTHAT’S WHY I COMEHERE!!! I love how the menu is «flexible» to a point… I’ve never been told I couldnt substitute a buffalo patty on my patty melt. Add this to decent beer specials and you can see why O’Sullivan’s is one of the few bars on Madison not consistantly empty.

Real, honest pub. Been here often for a beer with buddies as well as a couple of parties. Everyone is friendly and the bar food tasty. In nice weather you can enjoy their adjacent beer garden. Or, go to watch your favorite team on one of ä dozen TVs!

Popped in here for a drink last week and liked it a lot. The waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. There were also some great drinks specials. It was the kind of place I could’ve sat and drank for a few hours. Unfortunately I had to leave after one drink but I hope to come again soon to have some cocktails and maybe even try the food. Definitely worth stopping into, great service and good prices are make this place great!

I really try to like this place because it’s the coziest feeling bar on Madison Street. But the GODAWEFUL service makes it extremely difficult to spend money here. Great wings. The only reason I come back! They are super tender and juicy, come out piping hot and the carrots, celery, and blue cheese are included in the price of the dish(major pet peeve with hot wing restaurants)!! Be prepared to be wait — you will be ignored if you’re not a friend of the bartenders. I usually go at slow times hoping to get a drink within the first 10 minutes but it seems like that will only happen on Sunday nights. Sunday night’s bartender is very quick and attentive — can’t say much about the other 6 days of the week. Decent place to pop in for a quick bite and a beer, nothing more.

Nice place for a divey shot and beer joint. Decent food, friendly, though inconsistent service, good variety of beers. Also a nice place to watch sports — about 8 – 10TV’s circle the place. My rating is relative to other similar bars — not a fine dining restaurant! Be mindful of parking in Forest Park — their revenue hawking patrol boys will ticket you if they don’t like the shade of paint on your car. While the store owners are more than friendly, I now think twice about patronizing stores in the town for that reason.
