Cornelia did a spectacular job with the florals for our wedding. I told her the general look and feel that I wanted and she was able to capture exactly what I envisioned, while still finding a way to make everything even more magical.
You can tell she takes so much pride in what she does because everything she touches comes out perfectly. We could not be happier with Cornelia! We highly recommend her.

Cornelia and her trustworthy staff created gorgeous centerpieces for our annual business event. Everyone wanted to know who provided the flowers and I simply could not say enough about Cornelia! Cornelia is definitely the person to work with if you want a stress-​free event with an extra special touch.

Cornelia is a CREATIVE GENIUS! When I decided to get married I did not think of anyone else to turn to for our flowers other than her and her army of miracle workers. She is more than just a florist, she is an artist, a visionary, a wedding designer. From the very first meeting, she made me feel comfortable and understood our theme (we are total nerds at heart). She took us in beautiful directions that we didn’t even imagine all while staying within our budget. Her arrangements made our wedding ceremony and reception extra special. I heard nothing but compliments on everything she did. She doesn’t deserve 5 stars SHE DESERVES 10 STARS! I will continue working with Cornelia for any and every future event.

I’ve been lucky enough to work with Cornelia on two events now and will never go anywhere else. She is spot on with every detail. Color choices, textures, décor concepts — EVERYTHING has been so perfect for the really special evenings she put together (a 50^th anniversary and father-in-law’s birthday). What can I say — she’s brilliant.

Cornelia did an absolutely amazing job for my wedding in October at The Ivy Room. Being an out to state bride, Cornelia was so easy to talk to and easy to get in touch with. I had no idea what kind of flowers I wanted, only colors and a few pins on Pinterest, and created the most beautiful arrangements. She answered all of my questions and stayed within my budget. Also, she was happy to suggest a vendor for lighting and helped me get in touch with them. When it came to the wedding day her and her team exceeded my expectations! Everything was perfect.

I wish there was an option to put 6 or 10 stars for Cornelia. She was our wedding florist for our wedding this summer at the Art Institute of Chicago. But saying she was only a florist doesn’t do it justice — she came with us to all of our on-​site visits at the venue, came up with way too many iterations of floral arrangements, and put up with our indecisiveness. The best part — she even helped us design our reception area and gave us pointers on color schemes and other decorations (including a perfect arrangement of lanterns over the dance floor). So in actuality, instead of a florist, she was more like the interior designer and decorator for the entire wedding, and in the process went way above and beyond what she needed to do.
In fact, one of our most special memories of the wedding was, as we were running around with our photographer taking pictures, we see Cornelia standing in front of our two main arrangements flanking the ceremony stage, head cocked to one side, as people are milling around her, completely in her own world analyzing the crap out of the arrangement. What to us already looked STUNNING was still not perfect enough for Cornelia, and she spent the next few hours getting it just right. We found out later that the morning of the wedding she ran out to get some more flowers just to make sure everything not only matched our expectations, but also her (much higher) expectations. She really takes the job personally and takes on the project as her own. It really is amazing to see someone who takes so much pride in her work. We seriously love you, Cornelia!

Corneilia did the flowers for our wedding reception at the University Club of Chicago in September. She is just amazing. She understood our French theme from the very beginning and had a vision beyond our wildest expectations. Her ideas came through with a dramatic arrangement at the entrance and then beautiful subtle flower and candle arrangements throughout the venue. She worked within our budget and was very helpful in guiding what was best for us.
We will use Corneilia in the future for all of our events!

Choosing Cornelia for our wedding was great choice! She worked with our budget and listened closely to our ideas. She communicated well with us and was very professional. When she delivered our flowers on our wedding day the bridal party was awestruck!

Cornelia did a wonderful job with the flowers for our wedding. We knew as soon as we met with her that we wanted her as our florist. She understood the theme that we were going for immediately. I felt completely comfortable leaving the specifics in her hands.
Our ceremony was outside. She made the chuppah blend with the natural background. For the reception indoors, she did a mix of short and tall centerpieces. They were different enough to give each table character and similar enough to make the room really come together. I could not be happier with our choice to work with her.

Cornelia was the master mind behind the flowers for my wedding, and did an over the top, unbelievable job. Although my wedding was a year ago, and I am just getting around to writing this review, she has stayed top of mind for me as every wedding I have been to since mine hasn’t come close to the creativity and beauty she designed for my wedding. From the small attention to detail with the boutonnière’s to the overall look and feel of the tables, flowers for the cake or my bouquet, Cornelia’s design was fantastic. I would highly encourage anyone looking for a florist to at least talk to Cornelia and see her beautiful work!

I want to work with Cornelia over and over and over again. Everything at our wedding from the aisle décor, to our chuppah, to the tables, to the bouquets and even our cake toppers were absolutely stunning. We ultimately decided to use Cornelia because we knew we could trust her to channel our vision, and that she did. Our guests were so taken by our décor, and the majority of that was thanks to Cornelia.

Cornelia did the flowers for my wedding in August and I could not have been happier! She was so creative… she came up with the idea to do gilded magnolia leaves and have my tall centerpieces have flowers coming out of antique birdbaths! It was absolutely gorgeous. She also did our new wedding monogram made out of gilded magnolia leaves above the head table! I recieved so many compliments from my guests regarding the flowers! My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous… she did blush colors accented with a gorgeous bow… which fit my feminine style! She also surprised us with two bougainvillea topiaries to frame our head table. Cornelia is absolutely amazing to work with and so responsive. I highly, highly recommend her!

Cornelia McNamara is a creative genius with florals and plants. She created two different centerpieces for our wedding at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum on Sept. 22, 2012. Half of the tables got collections and the others had lanterns with surrounding flowers. Both styles were stunning, lush and breathtaking! The bridesmaid bouquets dripped with romance and my bouquet, although it wasn’t the exact shade of purple that I was expecting, turned out vibrant in photographs. When she heard I wasn’t happy with some of the creative choices, such as my bouquet, she promptly sent a letter with a partial refund. I was so surprised by her professionalism and gesture. She understood that weddings are an emotional business and went above and beyond with her customer service.
