We teach traditional Japanese karate. As our motto says, «More Than Just Punching and Kicking, We Help You Grow.»

Kyoshin Ryu Karate Academy has effective self-defense and self-betterment programs for adults, teens, children and families. We compliment our martial arts programs with yoga and special self-defense and stranger awareness workshops.

We teach karate to adults, children and families. We also have special classes for 3 & 4 year olds.

We teach kata, bunkai, kumite, nage & né-waza. In English, we teach forms, applications of the forms, sparing, throws & take downs, grappling and ground work.

We also have classes in kobudo (ancient Okinawa weapons), yoga, StreetWise self-defense and SafeChild anti-abdution.
