Came to this office second time and was not waiting to long, Was very happy with Dr Beniaminova was very Good told me that I am in good shape and was able to tell me about my problem, I asked if its was temporarily and she said yes as long as I do as she tell me I am very happy with that Doctor ,

This place is a disaster, a disorganized chop-​shop, a factory. Loud, miserable Russian staff, long waits in a super packed waiting room to finally see a bored Doctor who yawned repeatedly and couldn’t wait to move on. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS ORDEAL. I blindly picked the place from a Healthcare catalog thinking the all in one clinic was a good thing, worst experience ever. I would avoid this place even if I was coughing blood.

After reading many reviews, I was unsure to seek out the medical work I was looking for.
Here are my suggestions, Make an early am appointment if the doctor you needs to see has them.
I found the front desk girls very professional, and personable. It also pays to be medically savvy.
I saw Dr. Andrew Miller as I knew I needed a cortisone shot.
He’s friendly, and efficient. I was sent for an x-​ray — came back, and was gave exactly
what I knew was needed.
With additional visits per my insurance.
I will be back to see Dr. Miller for my other knee next month.

Medex is the worst place to get treated for anything, employees, including specialists, change very frequently, so you cannot really establish a relationship with your provider. Employees are apparently highly dissatisfied and are taking it out on patients by purposely disconnecting while you are on hold; worse yet, even when you call, they hang up repeatedly and when you repeatedly call they just do not pick up — and I am not even rude or disrespectful. Very unprofessional, very rude, and if it were such a great place specialists would not leave after just months on the job. This place is horrid — they suck money out of your insurance for every little thing — even when you do not need appointments. Stay away!!!

I made appointment. I wanted to check my leg after surgery, I got surgery I month ago in a different place. I had all papers and X-​rays on cd from my hospital but Dr Andrew Miller said he can’t open CD, he send me to X-​Ray across the street and made appointment in 4 days. When I came in 4 days, he just came in a room for a minute and said everything ok with my leg, he is not even showed me X-​Ray, and not even check my swollen knee, but I told him I’m worry about my knee, he just said its ok, I was wearing jeans, he couldn’t see my knee, so I’m no recommend this doctor and place, I spent 1,5 hour to get there only to hear what I can hear by phone «you are good» and Doctor spend with me less than a minute.

This place is run like its the 90’s. To reach or speak with a doctor is nearly impossible. The patient/​customer service appears to be great if you are Russian and Jewish.
Dr. Gimpelevich and Dr. Blatt are great doctors but trying to reach them or get feedback from the last visit or a scan is nearly impossible. Physical therapy is good too.
They will loose many patients if the do not get more tech savvy. They will also need to be updated on patient rights (pts in ny state have the right to their records/​reports), they should stop talking in their native Russian tongue. The practice is in America, they should all speak English, especially the nurses, medical assistance, and doctors that are in the back.

As I am sitting here right now at the Medex Center, an HOUR long into my appt and I haven’t seen the doctor yet.
I was hustled into by a heavily accented Russian woman, who mispronounced my name and refused to acknowledge she mispronounced it when I told her so. Then she asks me to ‘take off clothes’ do you need to take off clothes? I look at her confusedly and ask, isn’t what I’m here for in my patient files?
She finally verifies that yes I do need to take off my clothes to change into one of those butt bearing gowns. Now I am half naked in this flimsy baby blue hospital gown and when 3 different Russian ladies charge into the exam room, looking for supplies in the cabinet and chat in Russian for the next few mins. Meanwhile my exam room door is left open for any personnel to look in. I pointedly walk over and shut the door.
At the time of this Unilocal review I am not seen yet.

Horrible Service from the upfront staff. The doctors are great however it is a one shot all different type of doctors in one location. The service is horrible sometimes you wait 2 to 4 hours waiting for a doctor with a appointment. Even the doctors say the girls that work up front and get the files and take appointments are slow and never gove the doctors the info in time. Dometimes the doctors are not even aware patients are waiting for them.

HORRIBLE. Their policy seems to be that appointment times don’t matter, so if the person before you was late, your appointment will be like, 45 minutes later than expected or in my last visit, 90 minutes with no end in sight (I walked out). I went to this place 3 times, and every time I experienced and new wacky problem. Don’t go there!
