Harvey L Griesner, DDS

No one actually «enjoys» going to the dentist but since it’s one of those things we have to do everyone should have a dentist like Dr. Harvey Griesner. Dr. Griesner is dedicated, knowledgeable, honest, efficient and entertaining. The anxiety and fear most of us feel when entering a dentist office just melts away here. The staff is friendly and understanding and the wait time is never long. The icing on the cake is the prompt attention the doctor gives his patients who call with questions or concerns following a procedure. Obviously, I highly recommend this dentist. I rarely post anything on Unilocal but this was a must.

I had a crown made by Dr. Griesner. Less than three years after it was put it, it broke and fell apart. Dr. Griesner had told me that he was putting in a gold alloy. He had convinced me that gold was superior and that it looked more natural. So, I paid more for what I thought was a gold crown. The worst part about it was that the crown looked cheap. It was discolored and you could see the silver metal ridge under the gum. I had made it VERY CLEAR and had stressed that I did not want exposed metal. When I complained, he started putting on the schmaltz and telling me that it’s a back tooth and that nobody is going to see it, why am I being so picky, blah, blah, blah, etc…
Here’s the clincher, unsatisfied with this duplicity, I went to another dentist to get the crown repaired and I asked the new dentist point blank, what do you think of this crown? Is it a gold alloy I asked? The dentist replied, confirming my suspicions, absolutely not. It’s a cheap metal.
I’ve changed dentists and will not go back to Dr. Griesner. I don’t trust him.

This man right here has been my dentist since I was 5 years old. The service is always top notch. It truly is a family feel every time I stop by. Over the years he constantly updates to the newest and most cutting edge technology to make sure that everything is on point. His team is 100% the best. They take care of you and make sure everything is always correct with paper work/​documentation. They never keep you waiting extended periods of time. All is always well and in a timely fashion. I highly recommend!
