I was introduced to Daniel Hair Design about a year ago. I had been going to one of their stylists at a salon in Manhattan. She advised me that she also does hair in Rego Park (near my home), so I began seeing her on weekends at Daniel Hair Design. I have had the pleasure of having my hair done by Nina, Boris, and Daniel. All are very good stylists. The environment is warm and friendly. The salon has a good following of people. All customers are accommodated and Daniel (the owner) is very hands-​on. He ensures excellence in the service delivery and takes pride in the services they provide. It’s a breath of fresh air to have such great service and spirit in a local business. The best part is that their prices are super reasonable, in spite of their great service! I highly recommend this salon for anyone. You won’t be disappointed :-)

I am a big fan of Daniels salon and Daniel himself, I found this place a little less than a year ago and have been coming ever since. He picked the right color, did an amazing cut and keeps me happy every time.
When I get there, the coffee is served, my hair gets treated and I leave even better than I came in!!! Daniel is very knowledgeable, pleasant, so so welcoming and has many connections in the beauty world to recommend you other places for all the other needs.

I discovered this spot almost a year ago.
I met Boris who does my blow dry with my long hair and I was happy and been returning a lot since, Plus they have been cool about bringing in my stroller when I had no choice which is cool!
Then I let Boris do my color every month and I finally trusted his work to do a keratin last month and I am very pleased :)
I even sent a friend with short hair and Boris referred her to Daniel and she is happy .
So all in all a good place that you can go to and be pleased… the only thing I would say is I wish Boris was working on Saturdays lol

I made an appointment 2 weeks prior for an important family milestone event with the stylist Penina. A day before I PLACED A CALL to confirm my appointment, in which the stylist very rudely told me she wont be able to take me because she has her own party to attend to and would not compromise after minutes of pleading with her to make time to take me. I was disgusted by the treatment from this salon and I will not be coming back after this treatment. Go at your own risk but be sure to have a bacl-​up appointment in case they decide to cancel and not notify you !!!

I have been here about 7 times since I moved around this area. I usually go for a wash, blow dry. Sometimes a trim.
I think Boris does an amazing job. Better than most places I have been to in the past. Sometimes they run a little behind schedule but for the most part they are very professional and talented.
My wash and blow dry is about $ 30 which isn’t bad.
