They are always wonderful here. Great service for a great price. I get my eyebrows threaded about once a month here. Always as a walk in. It’s never a long wait and you can’t beat the price.

It’s actually a really clean facility. But it’s a hit or miss with who you get that threads your eyebrows. It seems like a lot of different people work here and I usually get someone different every time. Some are better than others, some are not that great. Its a cheap place at $ 5 for eyebrow threading, so it really can’t be beat. Tips must be left in cash and you should really try to come here before the evening rush because it can get really crowded as this place does not take appointments.

Service is great when there’s no people waiting around and they can take time to work on you– when there’s a line, the workers are in a rush to get you done. Still great though, and I’ve recommended this cheap place to many friends!

Almost all of them are better than average but Asha is the best! She remembers me when I come and how I like my eyebrows. Thin and arched!

I’ve been here once and this place is a hit or miss — hence the extra star. I had my upper lip and eyebrows threaded today and the woman I had was so rough, she left me bleeding! She said it was just red bumps but if the red liquid goes away upon wipe, I’d say that’s 100% blood. Without an apology or recognition for the bleeding (and scarring tomorrow), I won’t be back. Such a shame.

By far the worst eyebrow experience ever. I came here once before and the lady took off almost all of my eyebrow. I thought it was my fault for not telling her I didn’t want it to thin so I decided to give it another shot.
This time the woman left me with two eyebrows that look nothing alike. One eyebrow is significantly higher than the other and they are two different shapes. Also, she was having a loud conversation and was breathing over my face as she talked. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will never return

Been getting my eyebrows threated here since 2011. One of the few spots that you can still get it done for $ 5, especially here in Forest Hills where they hack the prices up on everything because of the neighborhood. Every time I get my eye brows done I go next door to see the puppies by the window. Everyone here is great, there have been a few new ladies here and there but the majority of them have been there since I started going.

I was pleasantly surprised with the service, it was quick and painless (shockingly, considering I haven’t done by eyebrows in a while!) They were also so polite by holding the door for my stroller. I am definitely going to continue going there!

I got henna done here about a week and half ago, it still looks nice. The service was shit and it didn’t look clean at all.

I had my eyebrows and upper lip threaded for the first time. I am sort of satisfied? I loved the shape of my eyebrows, but I was left with a small cut on underneath my left eyebrow. I don’t really mind the cut, but I had a problem with the attitude of the worker. She was very snappy and impolite. Now that I think about it, I kind of regret giving her a $ 5 tip (eyebrow and upper lip $ 5 each).
TL;DR — only reason why I’m taking away 1 star is because of the rude service.

I first have this place a one star for reasons mentioned below. I had vowed never to go back here, but was once left with no choice. I’m glad that happened because I was to discover that the staff is different now and so wonderful! They do an amazing job of threading. I’ve been there three times ever since and every time I’ve left satisfied. Every complaint I had the first time has been rectified. I had to come back here and edit my review!

The only reason I came here is because they advertise lower prices than other threading salons. But I now know why. It’s literally self service. I went to get my eye brows threaded. After I was given the mirror to check if it was done according to how I wanted it, I asked her to thread one more layer as one eyebrow looked different from the other. She literally scolded me for wanting what I wanted. Not only was she reluctant to thread one more time, she was just plain rude. Like I had somehow picked on her skill! Thankfully, I didn’t need anything else done. I asked if they would apply any rose water or cream on my eyebrows, as is the general norm at all salons. But she just pointed me to a bottle of the aloe cream and asked me to apply it myself. I don’t have issues doing that, but it’s the the attitude of the staff that was most off putting. I left a tip nevertheless. But won’t return.

Many people are very scared when they have to trust a new place or even a new person to do their eyebrows because let’s face it — it takes forever for them to grow out if someone does a bad job. You definitely do not have anything to fear by going to D&S Threading salon. I’ve been going here for over a year and I am never picky about who takes care of me and every single time I have walked out extremely happy. All the ladies do a great job. They always are very gentle and patient with me. Most importantly, this place is so consistent with the type of work they do. While I have not tried their other services, I can definitely say that they are my only trusted eyebrow spot.

I used to go here but I stopped because they ruined my eyebrows. I had thick long eyebrows and now there so thin and messed up. Every body teases me about it and it’s annoying. They messed up my length and it’s very upsetting. Now I have to grow them out wich will take so long and I’ll look horrible with all that hair on my face. I told the women to thread my whole face and she decides to wax my lip. I specifically said to just clean and not shape and she didn’t listen. They treat u like its. Another person on there seat. Customer service is bad

I love this place. I come here religiously! My eyebrows are a sensitive place for me. I’ve had some really effed up eyebrows because of bad threaders/​waxers. But the staff here is pretty good. Be VERY CLEAR about your instructions of what you want and emphasize and REITERATE a few times because some of them don’t listen. Wish I knew the names so I could forewarn, but I don’t know them. A few girls can make them overly thin which I hate for my face so be aware of that.

I’ve never had my eyebrows threaded before and was a bit nervous going in. The woman did a wonderful job though; it barely hurt and my eyebrows look so shapely and full, I have no idea how she did it! And for $ 5! Unbelievable, definitely coming back!

Just had my eyebrows threaded by Robyn (?). I was in and out of the salon in less than 10 minutes (there were people ahead of me) without an appointment. I had been growing my eyebrows out for almost two months and was ready to get an eyebrow make over. I asked her to shape it to my face and not to thread them too thin. She did an amazing job with the thickness and shape. It’s probably the happiest I’ve ever been with my eyebrows. The salon is clean, they’re fast, and budget friendly ($ 5). I may make this a routine thing.

Get your eyebrows done by Minu. DON’T get waxed by anyone lol. they double dip and it’s just not that sanitary looking. I should have known better.
3 days later and I have a nasty rash and ingrown hairs

I did a lot of research before I decided to go to this salon. For my first time, the treading session was amazing! The woman who did mine was fast and efficient. She did a great job that I was shocked it was done in 5 minutes. Now, my brows are perfectly arch. In the end, my eye area wasn’t red and blotchy like when I get my brow wax. I would definitely go here again. For $ 5 threading, it is a GREAT bargain.

Not the worst, definitely not the best.
I made sure I didn’t get Minu, because if they left me with teeny tiny eyebrows it would have been the end of them. The service is AWFUL. I really don’t understand why I can’t find an eyebrow place where they treat you look a real person instead of a nuisance that interrupted their gossip time. Or why after said interruption by a paying customer they continue to talk endlessly and loudly to each other in a language none of the customers clearly speak. This is rude, extremelly so. It is the equivalent in etiquette of farting at the table loudly. Also, lady doing my eyeborws, do me a favor and dont lean your belly with the force of your whole body into my face, arms, and head while you are working on my brows. ew. ugh.
