Specialties
Banter specializes in bringing a new twist to old Irish menu favorites. Instead of corned beef and cabbage, we have shredded Corned Beef and Cabbage Dumplings. Instead of white wine mussels, we create Guinness Mussels. Our aim is to bring the familiarity and warmth of an old Irish pub and mix it with modern food and cocktails. From our signature Magners Margaritas to our massive Banter Lamb Shanks, our goal is to have you planning your next trip here halfway through your meal.
History
Established in 2013.
Banter is defined as «an exchange of light, teasing remarks.» Here at Banter Irish Bar and Kitchen, we thought that word described the atmosphere we were trying to create. Opened on the eve of St. Patricks Day earlier this year, we were determined to bring the next level of an Irish pub and eatery to Forest Hills. Bathed in tradition and spiced with creativity, we intend to be here for a very long time.
