History

Established in 1986.

This business started out as «Forestry Works» Tree Service due to my getting frustrated with people saying that forestry didn’t work. Over the years, I learned greater aspects of professional tree care and arboriculture and evolved into what is now David D. Hunter, Certified Arborist. The current business is spilt between tree service side of tree care industry doing tree care, removals, stump grinding, etc. The other side of the business is arborist consulting. This side of the busines has been growing steadily. Arborist consulting involves: tree inspects for health or hazards, arborist reports, tree inventory and tree protection plans, landscape appriasals for timber trespass, fire damage, etc for clients such as insurance companies, claims adjusters or lawyers, Expert Witness for arboricultural and forestry issues, tree inspections as part of home inspections for home buyers, teaching of tree pruning techniques, and much more.
