I went here for the first time with my mom for early Mother’s Day dinner. It was FANTASTIC! My mom said it was the best blue cheese burger she has ever had! And the prices are so reasonable I will for sure be coming back for a long time!

So we had a super bad experience here a year and a half ago. But after a hiatus away we are back to loving it. The food is consistently good pub food. The sandwiches and burgers are delicious. I wish they had more variety and rotation for the beers on tap. They have a big bottle list but it just isn’t the same. They usually have Vortex on tap which is pretty much great. Tables are at a minimum so try to go for lunch or off hours.

I came here a couple of times and left underwhelmed after both visits. The first time I came here, I had the chicken pesto sandwich. I was very excited to see this option on the menu as it is surprisingly difficult to find and is my favorite type of panini. My second time I had a hamburger. It was also okay. This isn’t a bad option in the area and they run specials for the Pacific University students. 2 stars.

4-Stars for the Chicken Cesar Salad! I have asked numerous times — «what do you do the chicken to make it so good?» The waitress have ice water in their veins and never tell me. However, one day I caught one of the cooks outside, and he told me the secret. Touché. Simple, but well executed.

I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! I know that the owner is the cook and he Is AMAZING. Everything on his menu is delicious! And it shows because most times you have to wait to get a table! But it is worth the wait!

Love this local place for a burger and beer. Large selection of both, friendly staff, reasonable prices. But seriously, don’t go there, I already have to compete with the locals for a table. JK, this place is the best.

Food is pretty good, but the service is extremely sub-par. My girlfriend ordered a veggie burger and the waitress there had a bad attitude. Then when she got home it was a regular burger so she had to drive all the way back and get her original order. The lady didn’t say sorry or anything, just«okay I’ll tell them to make it» in the flattest voice. Idk if there’s a different culture in that restaurant to not show respect but we’re not in Japan or some other country where smiling and happiness isn’t required by waiters/waitresses(she’s white by the way so it’s not racist) you have to be nice to customers it’s part of the U.S. culture I’m sorry.

Great little place to grab some lunch in between classes. I really enjoy how they switch up their beers. Their burgers are big and juicy!

This place is definitely a «Cornerstone» of Forest Grove’s small restaurant community. The food is hearty and good. Some past favorites have been the melted brie/garlic dish and the casear salad with grilled chicken. Beer choices are fine. They need to add more ciders now that those are getting more popular these days. Wine is not the thing to get here — they could stand to add some better choices in that area, too. My major complaint is that there is NO wi-fi available to customers. WHAT? What year is it? Tried to go here with coworkers to spend a lot of money eating and drinking in order to make working really late tolerable… but had to leave when we found out there was no wifi. Fail.

The best chicken caesar salad you’ll ever have can be found here. The service is hit or miss. I’m just surprised that the place isn’t cleaner. The kids high chair is ABSOLUTELY disgusting and the tables are usually sticky somewhere. The menus are also usually dirty. The last few times we’ve tried to go, they have been closed even though their hours of operation say they should be open. It’s still worth it to give them a try. I just hope they’ve cleaned the place up for you and they are open. Note: based on JUST food and their current chef, I’d give them 5 stars.

Went here about a month ago with hubby and my niece. We spent 90% of our time trying to swat flies away from our food. The food tasted fine, but made all three of us sick later. Quality of food has really declined over the past year or so, but this was the final straw. Buy an commercial grade fly zapper for Pete’s sake! And be sure your food is fresh and won’t make customers ill. I don’t expect Cornerstone to be able to keep their doors open much longer honestly, which is disappointing since they used to be the best little pub in town! And on another note, I am really tired of Marty — she is an awful waitress who makes you feel so unwelcome here. She is in the business of customer service — if you don’t like customers, find a new career because you’re a disgrace to the owner here.

After zip-lining at tree to tree, we decided to go eat and this place shocked me. Loved the selection of food, I definitely wanted to order more. That I did with the great selection of beer they had, and thank you so much for the lady server(wish I got the chance to get your name) for taking care of our party of 6 with multiple beer samples. It is a small local spot with great tots and goood vibes all around!

One thing we don’t lack here in this area is a local place to grab a burger. The problem is finding a local place that makes a quality burger. I know I don’t dress the part(you will often see me around town in my signature capris and flip-flops), but deep down, I’m truly a food snob. In my humble opinion, anybody can slap a meat patty between two pieces of bread and call it a hamburger. Yet if I slap lipstick on a pig, does that mean it’s a super model? A great burger sports the perfect ratio of the following categories: Meat, Juice, Condiments, Veggies, Cheese and Bread. The only wildcard is BACON, because let’s face it, you can never have too much bacon. Cornerstone Pub & Grill has found that perfect ration. One thing’s for sure, you can’t order one of their burgers and not get it with a side of Freedom Fries. I prefer mine smothered in garlic and Parmesan. Who cares if you’re there on a date. If you both have the Garlic Parmesan Fries, the garlic is cancelled out. Whether we’ve been there for dine-in or take-out, lunch, dinner or in between, we have never waited long for a table if we have waited at all and we NEVER wait long for our food. The service itself is amazing and the food alone is worth going back for. No matter which burger you choose, make it medium and enjoy it with a nice heaping handful of Garlic Parmesan Freedom Fries.

I will start with my only complaint, hand pack your burgers. Now everything that was awesome. I got the Philly burger with Cajun tots and Mac salad and a Vortex IPA. I loved the Mac salad, definitely should make that a weekly special out just put it as a side. I would order then over the Cajun tots, and that’s saying something. There are carrots in the Mac, just in case you don’t like them. All in all, everything was good but the meat itself. I gave it a three only because of the patty itself. I will be back trying something else on the menu for sure. Side note, whoever it was that paid the bill for the three religious men in robes; God Bless You!

Great little spot in Forest Grove. Really good burgers and beer. Chicken Caesar salad is excellent as well. It’s a nice hidden little spot well worth finding in a town with not so great food choices.

Not a bad place to check out in Forest Grove. I ordered a pesto chicken sandwich with homemade fries. The chicken breast was thinly sliced, but not dried out and actually quite good. They put a lot of pesto on the focaccia bread and it wasn’t over powering like you might expect. The fries were outstanding and they are made right there in the kitchen. They also have burgers. The server was very nice and I got my food in about 15 minutes. The price, service and food are all good. I’d go back.

This place is either a hit or miss… You can’t really go wrong when ordering a starving student. However, your serving size may vary.(There are way better burgers then this, however, if you are a college students this is ideal…$ 5 = Cheeseburger, fries and a drink… some of my other favorites; the firehouse and the surf burger) Some waitresses are friendly and others you feel like hate their job. Some remember to include a drink with your starving student others claim you need to ask for it if you want it. Overall the experience has been GOOD. The food is AWESOME. The service is OK. The parmesan french fries TODIEFOR!

Only restaurant that I could see in this tiny town in Oregon but surprisingly solid burger(simple but good). Good selection of well-priced beers as well.
