This place is the worst. They are rude and over charged my credit card. When I called to tell them, the owner/manager told me that I was in the wrong because their menu wasn’t updated and THEIR employees told me the price. So over $ 3 that they wouldn’t refund, I told them I would post what happened. The owner was rude, told me DOWHATYOUHAVETODO. So I did, I posted everywhere I could and will continue. All they had to do was apologize and refund my damn $ 3 now it’s not about the money but the principal. They called me back and told me since I posted, they won’t refund the overcharge. No problem, letting people know that they are a ripp off is worth the $ 3! You don’t get to make up prices. That’s not how you run a business! And do you know r ed views can be changed? Dumbass!

The service is always great when we go, kind servers who are attentive. But– the pizza is just awful. The pie is always greasy, the crust is rubbery and overall, leaves us all with a stomach ache. We live very locally so we keep on trying it, and are consistently disappointed. I wish they would improve their menu and their recipes!

This is the WORST excuse for a pizza place I have ever experienced. The two times I stopped in for regular slices, they were dry and overly burned. After another two years, I decided to order a sicilian and a gyro, to be delivered. You know, give another chance kind of deal. The girl on the phone said the sicilian was at least 1″ thick. What I got was ½″ or less, over-cooked, and I wouldn’t even feed it to a dog. The gyro was very small, made up by HUGE, overly salted fries as a side. When I called to complain, the manager, who sounded to be about all of 18, hung up on me twice. Finally the owner answered and didn’t offer a refund but a free regular pie. I grew up in Jersey City, in the shadow of NYC. So I know good/bad pizza. If I want to make an enemy of someone, I now know where to send him/her. Better to go to Marcello’s, just 2 minutes and 2 miles further.

Just love the pizza! Come over and try it! Pizza is always fresh and hot. The sandwiches are not too bad.

I grew up in the neighborhood and frequented this place often. Today I was visiting family in the area and ordered delivery — they were here in less than 30 minutes. The pizza itself tasted pretty good. I miss having their food every Friday night. The only complaint I have is that the pizza with the mushroom topping was soggy! Clearly it was canned mushrooms — they could have drained it before throwing it on the pizza. Also, on both pies the cheese was completely sliding off — not one person got the chance to eat a slice with everything intact. That was annoying.

They used to make the best pizza with fantastic sauce and good crust. It has declined over time especially since the new owner took over. Now it’s doubtful that I’ll be returning because the pizza was not good on my last purchase. I got the wrong topping that I didn’t notice until I got home and the pizza was gummy with little sauce, tasteless. The previous owner made his own sauce and the special meals they served were realy good. I’m disappointed and won’t be driving out of town to get pizza from Fords Pizza again. Sorry.

Friendly staff. I used to love the pizza 3 – 4 years ago but it’s not as good as it used to be. Not crispy anymore, very oily. I tried to give the place one more shot, ordered fries, garlic bread, salad, and wings, we were extremely DISAPPOINTED. Fries were the frozen kind and not cooked properly they were so soft. The garlic bread was bland and no taste. The salad had croutons that were so moist. The wings were terrible. We are going to stick with Goodfellas. I really wanted to love the place since it was the first restaurant I ate at when we moved here 4 years ago but it’s been disappointing over the years.

The sauce and pasta is much better than the other pizza places in town. Definitely get it here if you’re getting pasta take-out in fords/clara barton area. Pizza and Sandwiches are solid too. The people there are really nice too.

They have pretty decent cheesesteaks, but their pizza is usually old. You can tell it’s been sitting there for quite a while. Went there on a Sunday morning as soon as it opened and they had 3 pizzas ready. They looked like they were left over from the night before. That being said, their prices are good and if u can find a fresh slice it does taste good.
