San Miguel Meat Market

This is an awesome spot for delicious Mexican food. I got an asada burrito. The meat was flavorful with great texture and the portion was generous. The beans were also super tasty and lots of fresh cilantro put the whole thing over the top. They have a great salsa bar– I grabbed plenty of the avocado salsa which had mild heat but added great flavor and freshness. They have canned and bottled beverages in a case and there is a small area where you can sit, but half of the space is a meat market so I’d recommend taking your food to go. Absolutely delicious!

I’ve been going here at least once a week for lunch due to the fact that my current job site is down the block. Some co-​workers took me here and I loved it. The place is a small meat market (carneceria). It is also a little taco shop inside. The carne asada tacos are only $ 1.19 and they are delicious! You can add all the fixings yourself and the guacamole sauce is bomb. The carne asada burritos are the BOMB! I ordered mine with no beans and no rice. It was all meat, and I asked for cheese. I opened it up and added some shredded cabbage and some salsa they have there. It was huge and the best burrito that I have had in a long time. The staff is friendly and the place reminds me of the kind of taco spot you can find in Tijuana. They have ceviche, which is pretty good. They also have tortas, quesadillas, combo plates and sodas.
If you are in the area and want some good tacos or a delicious carne asada burrito, I highly reccomend this place.
