I never purchased a motorcycle here or had anything serviced but the service department is seriously way over priced. I just moved to Fontana recently and needed tires for my motorcycle (2015 Yamaha R1). The service guy quoted me $ 475 for Dunlop Q3’s (120÷70−17 front, 190÷55−17 rear) installed. I’l always pay less then $ 300 for those tires installed and balanced at other dealers (Wheels in motion). I can’t even see how they came up with that price. I decided to buy my tires online and install them myself but I still needed to get then balanced, so I decided I want to give them another chance since they are near by. I brought them the wheels with the tires already mounted and asked for just a balance. They quoted me $ 40 just to balance them. I called Rancho Cucamonga Yamaha and did it for half the price. This place is a rip off and I wouldn’t recommend any for service here. I do a lot a track days and buy a lot of tires and they will never get my business.

After researching and checking out many dealers «berts mega mall, inland atvs and a few more, out of every place I check out, I found the best price for my new first owened kawasaki 80 atv. I couldn’t belive I got a really good deal on it I am so happy with my purchase, My sales person was Nick, he was awesome he made my purchase so pleasant he didn’t try to hustle me haggle me on the price, he was honest and straight forward. He gave me a really good discount off the original price which I was super surprise with that many other places don’t even budge on their price, but they did. All their inventory is kept clean and service which is a big plus which I notice a lot of other places don’t do. Overall I would highly recommend these guys for whoever is in the market in buying a new toy, do yours guys research check out other places, I will bet these guys would be out anyone other price, they are small business but most of the time u get way better deals and service from the small guys, I would definitely come back here for my next purchase for my 450 atv, hope u guys remember me ;).

Great experience. Hank is a gentleman and has a great personality. I received a far better deal on a 2016 CRF250L than I could get on a 2015 anywhere else. Very easy buying process. I look forward to riding my new bike and will be back for future purchases

I’ve been going to this place since the early 80’s. Its only gotten better with time. Its a small shop which means you don’t have to walk a mile to get to it. The people working there are knowledgeable and passionate about motorcycles. I race desert and see those guys out there on thier own time at all the major and minor events. This is the kind of place where you can just hang out and talk motorcycles. When I was younger parts were a major purchase for me so they always felt my pain and gave me some sort of break. To this day if there is someone new at the counter one of the other guys will say take care of him he is a good customer. I also don’t like changing my own tires they usually have me out of there in 15 minutes and only 10.00 light in my wallet. I really appreciate that.

I shopped at over 8 dealerships around southern CA on phone and Internet before buying here from Hank. Best deal I found elsewhere was still well over $ 1,500 more. So bought from Hank @ John Burr Cycles. Then it gets even better, Hank ask me if I would rather have a 2016 fresh in the crate instead of the 2015 we made a deal on. I’m like Oh Yeah!!! No BS adding on extra build cost, etc. like other dealers were doing to me with lower initial cost with so called super sale. Some of those were almost 3K more than the 2016 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 LT Hank got for me. Then Hank again impressed me with best financing deal possible, much better than the other dealers I was working with to get my dream bike. All I can say is WOW! Save yourself some time and go directly to Hank @ John Burr Cycles, the Absolute Best!

I have been here a few times to check out a few things. Employees are friendly and helpful. Parking is usually ok. The store is a bit cramped but considering it all its a ok shop …

WARNING!!! Worst service ever! The service department refused me service. I described the bike’s problems over the phone and they told me to bring it down. All I needed was a simple carb rebuild and they won’t even touch my bike. I spoke to a manager and he wasn’t even willing to look into the issue at all. He didn’t even express any interest in looking into what bike I was talking about or speaking to the service department.

This place is great for whatever you need. The parts department is well stocked. The service department is outstanding. Greg in service is very helpful and knowledgeable. John Burr has been very helpful in my resto-​mod of my ’77 CT90.

Had a great experience purchasing my new 2015 Yamaha FX Cruiser HO from Nick Paulsen yesterday. It was worth my drive from South Orange County to their Fontana store. Everything happened quickly from negotiations on the price to delivery. I will be purchasing all my future motorsport toys (motorcycles, quads, & side-​by-​sides) from Nick at John Burr. I also like how personable everyone was that I was in contact there and that it not some high overhead mega-​store that served café latte’s and a clothing boutique store. Just a good old fashioned serious motorsports store.

I have Honda quads and generators. John Burr has great sales and service. I will continue to buy my equipment and have my atvs serviced here.

I was in the market for a Yamaha Viking VI and had already made a deal over the phone with a dealer located in the OC. At the last minute, I remember seeing this dealership on the way to Kaiser Hospital every time my kids went to the doctors. I decided to stop in and I’m glad I did. This place has been around for decades and has built a great reputation in the inland empire.
I spoke to Nick in the sales department and was greeted by a very polite and courteous salesperson. He asked if I wanted to test drive the unit and then explained every detail about it and asked if I had looked at one anywhere else. I told Nick I had made a deal over the phone with another dealership but did not want to make a hasty purchase and did not want to regret shopping not shopping around more.
To make the long story short, Nick was able to match the deal and give me 20% off all accessories. The best of all was that I am buying from a dealership only ten minutes from my home. This allows me to build a relationship with them and ensure years of terrific service.
We made a deal and I took delivery of the unit a week later. It was cleaned and detailed when I arrived. Nick helped me load and secure the Viking onto my trailer and I was on my way. I highly recommend Nick and John Burr. You will no doubt be satisfied.

Wow how have I never reviewed John Burr!!! My husband bought his quad here in 2006 because his uncle had a great history with this place.
Skip ahead to 2010 and our son wanted a dirt bike. We were on our way home from Kaiser hospital down the street and decided to just stop in. They had the 2011 Honda 50 we wanted plus another one for my baby son.
They always give you extra stuff when you buy a bike. We got free flags and tie downs. My husband even got gloves and a hat free.
Now skip ahead to 2012 and my son wanted a new quad. Once again we just happened to be down at kaiser at stopped in. We went home with a Honda 250 quad for my son and a 90 for my youngest. As always they gave us the free stuff.
Now my kids are older and looking at new stuff. My son turns 10 next month and wants a new dirt bike. You know where I will be going. My 5 year old is still happy with his 50 dirt bike and 90 quad.
Never once have they been rude or disrespectful to me. I live in the high desert and still prefer to drive down to Fontana because of the service I receive. At a large store down the street they didn’t even greet me when I asked for help multiple times trying to buy bikes.

John Burr Cycles are incompetent. I put in an internet order 2 ½ weeks ago for
common honda dealer parts, simple bolts and washers. They cannot even handle this simple task that as monkey could probably do.
No email updates, status nothing, They also have the nerve to charge you $ 10 for
shipping and «handling» (HMA) which should be priority for that ammount.
I go to complain and ask where my order is online, and i get a form letter email
online that order is placed with no status, no shipping status. NADA, ZIP !
Hello John Burr… Your customer services SUCKS.
CANCEL MY ORDER AND RETURN MY MONEY
TO PAYPAL of which i have filed a complaint.
I advise anyone ordering OEM parts, needing factory dealer service,
or needs a new bike to shop elsewhere. (not at John Burr).
If these folks cannot handle an $ 30 order of bolts and washers
then would you trust them touching your motorcycle and feel good about putting your life in their hands,…I sure would not. Actions speak louder than words.
ALSO if your waiting for parts to fix your ride you have a LONG WAIT
as your parts will not arrive. Take heed from my experience and STAY FAR AWAY and
do not order any parts from these bozo’s.

Walked in and walked right out!
I was looking to buy a R6 and ride out with one today so I decided to try this place out. I walk in look at the bikes for maybe 5 minutes when one of the sales guys look at me, doesn’t say a word in return after I say hi and walks right past me. No one approached me to see if I needed help or anything. Another guy was looking around and it seemed like he was there for a while and fed up so I guess I wasn’t the only one. Guess I’ll be going to Chaparral instead.

I wish I would have bought my 2014 here. Guy in parts is awesome! I will be buying all of my parts here from now on. I always like to support local shops rather than the larger places with zero customer service.

I have purchased two bikes through these guys, and will no doubt get others. Greg in service is as good as they get! No hype, no ego BS, just easy going straight-​up knowledge and willingness to help. Hank has always taken great care of us on the sales side, and again, it’s just straight-​up talk, not the boiler cooker sales gimmicks you get with other dealers.
If there’s only one thing I could suggest to the owner. You should make a stronger push to promote and install aftermarket items, i.e., mapping units, exhausts (at least slip-​ons), sliders, etc. It seems everyone is looking to add «this» and change «that» to their bikes. JB has the capability to do all of this, but they tend to shy away from the discussion.
Anyone buying a new R1 or ZX10 or 14 will be immediately taking it somewhere to get it Power Commander tuned, fender eliminator kit, frame sliders, and who knows what else. It’s not my business, BUT, just saying …

This is a great place if you are planning to buy motorcycles or getting it serviced. I didn’t buy my mototrcycle from here but when i was there for servicing, i enquired about the pricing for the motorcycle that i had purchased elsewhere. They were atleast $ 400 below what i had paid. They also explained to me about the Costco motorcycle program which nobody told me about which saves a bunch of money if you are a Costco member.
Servicing is just great. The labor charges for my motorcycle was very reasonable. Greg, the service manager also took care of a recall that i did not know off and also fixed a few minor issues that he saw for free.
This is definitely the place I will be visting for purchasing/​servcing. They just show a very warm/​welcoming feeling which i don’t see in other dealerships.

I was having a super hard time finding a green 2013 Kawasaski Ninja 1000. My local dealership and about 10 others said they could not find one is SoCal because it was right before the ’14 came out and they were sold out. John Burr Cycles were the last dealership I tried. Hank found me one in a crate almost immediately. Couldn’t have been easier dealing with him. He beat the best price I found on the bike too. We did all of our negotiation through email and text because I live 80 miles away. I REALLY appreciated that. Here’s a couple of things that blew me away: 1, Hank texted me pictures of it in the crate, setting up and finished. Loved that. 2. He came in early on his day off when the store was closed and finished the deal with me!!!

After calling around for the best price, wasting time and gas going from dealership to dealership, I’m glad I took a risk with John Burr Cycles for my first purchase.
I dealt with Kurt who is the sales manager and he was able to give me a straight up price over the phone with no gimmicks or anything, which made things a lot easier and at which point and time proved worthy of my business.
The crew here are all genuine people and treat you as if you were a regular (much thanks to Kurt the sales manager and Richie who delivered my bike). They’ve been at this location for over 30 years and are family owned and it definitely shows.
I would highly recommend giving this place a shot if you are looking to purchase a motorcycle.
