Ang and Eddie’s

I recently took a job in Fond du Lac and was looking at my food options. I searched Italian Beef and Ang and Eddie’s came up. I’m hooked. The restaurant is small and tucked just off Main Street. It’s a clean, casual atmosphere and the few times I’ve been in for lunch, they have turned tables quickly. It’s as close to a Portillo’s sandwich as I’ve found in this area. I’m giving a four-​star, Yay! I“m a fan rating, because I have yet to try anything else on the menu.

Ordered a supreme large chicago-​style pan from them. Orders take a little bit longer but that’s a given with Chicago style pizza. They don’t skimp on toppings at all and I was completely stuffed after eating two pieces. The veggies could have been cooked a little longer or chopped smaller though, not a big fan of crunchy green peppers.
Atmosphere is very comfortable and the staff is very friendly. I would check this place out.

A fond du lac GEM. The calzones are my absolute favorite, though I do spruce mine up with the addition of ricotta cheese… which the kitchen has no problem accommodating. There are very few places in FDL that I believe to serve quality food. Ang & Eddies is one of them and always has been! Authentic to Chicago cuisine (coming from a former Chicago inhabitant), Ang & Eddie know how to make some pizza, chi-​dogs, Italian beefs, and more! Quaint venue, though I usually order take-​out since it can get a little noisy for my liking when busy. Also, they offer fun activities for kids like pizza making and dough-​tossing. Love love love this place.

The Chicago style pizza was awesome! The service was quick and friendly. If you are looking for a small pizza place to sit down and enjoy dinner then this is your spot. We will make a point to return here when we are in town again.

The bacon cheeseburger supreme style is amazing! Out family has never had a bad meal at Ang & Eddies. The service is amazing Angie & Ed are always around to say hi see how your meal is. They make sure that everything is just right along with pretty much all of their family members. It’s nice to see this kind of place where the family is welcome and everyone can enjoy a meal that tastes amazing at a reasonable price. And if you can’t make it in now to deliver which is incredible. So don’t miss out on the chance to try hotdog, gyro, calzone, Italian beef, or an amazing slice of pizza!

Being in the area we found this place. Great food and atmosphere. Had a Mediterranean and a Supreme. Recommend both.

We just got home from dinner from this place. Very at home hole in the wall atmosphere. Super friendly staff and great service. The food was very flavorful, the pizza sauce tasted home made, and the vegetables on the supreme pizza all tasted very fresh. The portions were great and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be returning here again. We had cheese bread, and hand tossed pepperoni and dupe meme pizzas. Delicious!

Chicago’s Giordano’s used to be the best pizza until NOW! My wife and I would drive to Chicago for pizza and now we don’t have to. You can tell the sauce is secret! It has exceptional flavor that makes this pizza better! A must try if you love Chicago style pizza!!!

I love pizza in all it’s shapes and forms and I definitely have a soft spot for Chicago style Deep Dish. There have been places in the area doing deep dish, but they all seem to miss the mark somewhat, and none of them remind of the great deep dish I used to get in Chicago, that is until Ang & Eddie’s.
I love their deep dish, and that’s what we get everytime we order from there, although I have had their Italian Beef also, which is great. Finally, there’s a place in town that make’s Chicago specialities just like they make in Chicago.
The dining room is small, but cozy. I wish it were larger, especially in wintertime as when the front door opens it chills the whole place. But it is comfortable and cozy and the service is outstanding. My daughter likes to come by on Kid’s nights (Thursday I think) as she can make her own pizza and they give her a lump of dough and quick lesson in how to throw pizza dough.

Went there for the first time and is was good. The wife liked her Mediterranean, I had a chicken bacon ranch Chicago style. That type of pizza is not made for Chicago style. My fault, not theirs. Way too much crust. Service was awesome. We will go back.

Excellent pizza, excellent service. We stopped by on the way back from a race. Service was fast and friendly, chicago style pizza was wonderful. Finished with cheesecake, again wonderful. Food was fresh and seemed home made top to bottom. Waitresses were family members of owners and very friendky. Wish this place was closer to home.
Only downside is they are not open late.

OH MY GOODNESS this place is delicious. Chicago native, finding good pizza outside the city is next to impossible but this place does a great job. We did takeout tonight and everyone was SO friendly, the owners especially. Will definitely be buying from here again.

My new favorite pizza in Fond du Lac! We’ve dined in and carried out and both experiences were terrific. Service was fine. That’s not what they are looking to impress you with, but I also wouldn’t complain about it. Seems like a family run business and the kids run the front of house. They are friendly! Either way the party I was in had the deep dish, personal hand tossed, hot dog, and I got a Calzone. Everyone was very happy!
They also have available outdoor seating.

My husband has been looking for a pizza place that reminded him of home for 14 years. Ang and Eddie’s is that place. We had the Garlic Bread with Cheese, the Chicago-​Style pan pepperoni and the kids calzone. In addition we tried on of the Chicago-​Style hot dogs.
Everything tasted wonderful and the portions great. If the kids calzone was a smaller version of the regular calzone, I don’t know how someone would be able to finish it. The kids calzone was big. The Chicago pizza was just like it should be. A great flaky crust and a tomato sauce that was seasoned just right. None of that tomato paste sauce that lots of places use. And if you like cheese, you will get cheese. We also tried the Chicago hot dog, just so we would know what it was like. I would have thought that I had gotten it right off of a vendor cart in downtown Chicago. Just wonderful.
On top of the great food, they had great service. Everyone there was very friendly. On Thursday’s kids can get to throw their own pizza dough. We were there on a Saturday, and it was slow at the time. One of the kitchen staff came out and asked if our son would like to do it.
With all of that, the prices are good too. You can get a personal Chicago pan for under $ 8 and a large for under $ 18 (a little bit more after you add additional toppings). Kids meals were all under $ 4.
No doubt about it, we will be going back to Ang and Eddie’s again.

My dad and I went to this restaurant just because we wanted pizza and it turned out to be a great hole in the wall place! The pizza was delicious and the service was awesome! The only down side to this restaurant was the prices. it was about 15 $ for a personal pizza, which is kind of ridiculous. But I would recommend it.

Nice family pizza place. Pizza was tasty, after dinner Eddie came out and taught my three year old to toss pizza dough which he thought was awesome.
Fond du lac needs more small restaurants like this.
I will definitely be taking my family back.

I love Chicago pizza! I lived in Chicago for many years so I had a chance to experience many of the pizzas there but sadly I do not get that many opportunities to return. However I do visit Fondy at least twice a year and now I can satisfy my pizza cravings on trips home. Ang and Eddie’s Chicago pizza is the real thing. Deep flaky crust, delicious tomato sauce and lots of cheese! I am a Popeye person so we added spinach, mushrooms and wood fired tomatoes. Delicious! Plus you can’t beat the price. A huge large pizza was right around $ 20. I can guarantee you’d pay significantly more in Chicago. Four of us couldn’t eat the whole thing but I will happily eat leftovers tomorrow. Their thin crust pizzas looked good too however I am not sure I will ever try them as the deep dish has my heart.
