SOSAD! This zpizza just re-closed after 2 years of being open. I miss them already! I love zpizza! I am so glad they re-opened this location back in 2012. The pizza is great. i love the there are organic ingredients and that they have VEGAN options. So few options for non-meat/non-cheese people in this area.

Had a great awesome experience coming here to grab pizza. Customer service is pristine. Definitely top notch and friendly. Pizza was phenomenal. it didn’t tasted stale. And was served fresh upon being baked. And I got first dibs. I don’t usually rate bathrooms quite often regarding on a particular business. but this bathroom is great, well stock on toilet papers. Loves it. Will definitely come here often. Thank you Z pizza.

I ordered from Z Pizza on a recommendation from a friend that also lives in Folsom. I have to preface my 4 star rating only because I didn’t experience the interior of the restaurant or the customer service on pick up. I placed my order over the phone and would say it was what I would expect from a pizza restaurant: pleasant and efficient with no expectations of over service. When my friend arrived with our pizza it was warm but not super hot but I think that was possibly more from my ordering a bit early before my friend could arrive. We ordered a small Casablanca(artichokes, mushrooms, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese and garlic) and a small Pepperoni and The Greek Salad. I was truly impressed with the Casablanca, everything tasted fresh, the crust was light and crisp which is how I prefer it since my family is from New York and the crust reminded me of home. The pepperoni was simple and the tomato sauce was sweet and tangy again reminding me of the pizza of home. The Greek Salad was good but nothing special; it served it’s purpose. Everything was fresh and delicious! I am enthusiastic about their selections of pizza, and gluten free options. Prices were moderate– $ 28 for the three things we ordered. I am looking forward to trying the other pizza’s and bringing my Father to get his opinion since he’s a true New Yorker.

I’ve had the zbq, mexican, and thai so far, and absolutely love each one. The crust is incredible. The ingredients are organic, and the options are limitless. Everytime I make an order, I get a $ 5 coupon for the next purchase, which makes the XL size only about $ 17. You can also buy take n bake pizzas, but I guess I’m always too hungry to go that route. It helps that I live about a half mile from this place too. They sell by the slice too, but I’ve never done that either. I like buying online so I can just go in and pick it up, very easy and tasty!

Sitting here ready to pick up my caryout order. Tried to use the Unilocal check in $ 5 off $ 20(my order was $ 25) only to be told that they wouldn’t honor it because my order was an online special. It doesn’t say that restriction anywhere on the deal. Just a random«not going to honor it.» Won’t be back.

I really like this place. I wss looking for some pizza put with out greasy part. This was great, gluten free is great and love the fact I dont feel the heaviness of eating this pizza. Which is great! Best of all kids Loved it! We got the standard pepperoni and 2nd one the Italian. The Italian was awesome! Must try this if u want a vegan/healthier version of pizza.

I’m sitting at Pizza Rock with some friends, saying, «Man, I wish we had pizza like this in Folsom.» A friend says, «Zpizza is pretty good.» «Oh yeah, you’re right. I should try them again.» So, on a night when my daughter and I were home alone, I ordered a large pizza, half Hawaiian, half Santa Fe, and two cookies. The cookies were really nothing special– definitely not worth $ 1.50 each, but I wanted to get to the minimum delivery amount($ 20) and didn’t want to order another pizza, so they served my purposes. The Santa Fe was, well, more Santa Fe than I thought it would be, which is fair. The Hawaiian was one of the best I’ve had in town. Take two, on another day, I place a similar order. Apparently, Zpizza is closed, yet the order goes through, and I wait for an hour and a half before I realize that my pizza is not coming. Fortunately, the next day, before I even have a chance to call and cancel my order, the manager called me to let me know that they had voided the order and were sending me some gift coupons. Cool! I wasn’t even expecting that. So… Take three, I have some friends over, so I order the extra large, half Hawaiian, half ZBQ, and a Greek salad because my friend has this idea that pizza and salad go together. The salad, like the cookies, was nothing special at all, and not worth $ 7. It was mostly lettuce mix, with barely any toppings. The Hawaiian was nowhere near as good as it had been before. The ZBQ was nothing like the one I remembered from when Zpizza first opened. On top of all that, it took an hour and fifteen minutes to get it, and it arrived lukewarm. There were some major issues with using the gift certificates. I was told that I could not use them for delivery, but there is nothing to that effect written on the gift certificates. I have had only good experiences eating IN at Zpizza, but every time I have it delivered, it gets worse. They’re still better than a lot of the places in Folsom, but seem to be slipping. I like that you can order take and bake pizzas to be delivered(at least, I think so, I haven’t technically tried it), but the website is really difficult to use. Plus, the $ 20 delivery minimum is after all discounts and coupons, so you have to be getting a ton of pizza in order to get a good deal. Most other places in town have much lower delivery limits.

This place is seriously lacking ambiance. Only half the floor space has seating. I guess they expect it to be super packed all the time??? 32″ HDTV plays sports in the corner but it seems like more of a take out place. $ 10 for a build your own pizza with 3 toppings isn’t too bad of a deal. The pizzas are quite tasty. I had a half-Tuscan, half-pepperoni for $ 17.95 while my daughter got a mozzarella, Parmesan, feta, pepperoni pizza for $ 10. I was going to order a $ 12 small Tuscan and two slices of pepperoni but he said this would be better. The regular crust is quite regular. :). It’s pretty dry but they cook it perfectly. The sauce is also quite plain. unsalted stewed tomatoes. The rest of the toppings were quite flavorful! I loved the Tuscan but would try the other crusts first as it can’t get much worse. The carmelized onions were amazing. I could eat a pizza with only that on it. :). The large is like 2 inches bigger than the small so I don’t really recommend upsizing… not much if a value. Way better deal would have been to get three smalls and got a free 4th small. I didn’t see the sign until after but the guy should’ve known… now I feel ripped off but he did save me a couple of bucks from my initial order. I also didn’t see the $ 5 checkin Unilocal coupon that would have saved me… I can’t win today. At least I got some tasty pizza.

I have seen this new place driving on East Bidwell several times, but since I don’t eat gluten I haven’t thought about trying it out. However, I heard they serve gluten free pizza and just decided to give it a taste… boy I was satisfied! Their pizza was very delicious with very fresh ingredients, LOVE that they serve gluten free. Very fun environment with a very friendly staff(the one that greeted us even had an Italian accent haha), I can definitely say I was very happy with my experience and will be back here many times in the future!

I am a pizza fanatic. Any time, any place… pizza is always a good idea. The pizza here has the cheese to sauce to bread ratio right. The sauce is the perfect amount of sweet and the cheese just a tad bit browned, just the way I like it. Too many times have I encountered pizza where the sauce is all dried up and almost nonexistant, but here they know what they’re doing. If you come in for lunch they have a combo lunch special where you can get a slice of pizza and a salad or half a sandwich for about $ 6. If you want all three I think it costs a buck or two more. I’ll come back to try out all their different options!

My new favorite pizza place in Folsom! Lots of options besides pizza, though the pizza is excellent. We also stopped in for lunch and got a couple of flatbread pizzas. Both were up fairly quickly and were solid(the pear Gorgonzola was a favorite). Prices are reasonable. All three visits have been great. Website is very easy to order from too.

My husband and I were looking for a healthier pizza since Whole Foods was closed. We Unilocaled the nearest pizza establishment and found zpizza! We checked out the menu online and were super impressed with the options(including gluten free)! We called in our order for pick up and even used a coupon on Unilocal!Fast service and friendly staff! We ordered a large pepperoni and a large Hawaiian! Both very good options I must say! Loved their soft crust and lots of pepperonis. The two large pizzas served four adults and two kids! I would definitely come back and try the veggie options as well! Thanks zpizza for making our pizza night a good one!

There’s good pizza and there’s bad pizza. Luckily for all of us, zpizza sits in the former category. I snatched up a Groupon, and my boyfriend, friend, and I all shared the ZBQ Chicken pizza. The crust on their pizza was fantastic. Crispy, but also fluffy and soft. What?! Yes, it’s possible. The blend of fresh ingredients was melodious to our taste buds — cilantro, corn, and roasted red peppers. My friend also got the pear & gorgonzola salad, which we all had a few bites of. The candied walnuts and pears made it a sweeter salad, which I liked. Topped with balsamic vinaigrette, and it’s pretty much ideal. With the $ 5 off $ 20 deal you can get with checking in on Unilocal,I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. P. S. Check out the ingredients on the Provence pizza! I won’t allow myself to be vetoed next time by omnivores!

My review is based solely on the customer service aspect not the actual quality of food, since we never received the pizzas we ordered. We decided to try out these guys based on reviews on Unilocal.Granted it was New Years eve at 8pm and we did call but there was no answer, so we figured they were slammed due to the time and date. So we decided to use their online ordering option and decided if they were actually closed there would be some kind of indication when placing the online order. Ordered the pizza at 8:09pm, received order confirmation #8229969 so we thought they were open otherwise we would not have received a confirmation #. Waited an hour and a half, delivery time stated 45 mins but again figured because it was New Year’s the wait would be longer. Called to check on our order twice, no answer, no pizza, ordered from someone else. Had it not been for the confirmation # we would not have sat there starving for an hour and a half for 2 take and bake pizzas and would have called someone else.

So happy to have a yummy delivery option in the area! Sure beats mediocre Chinese food on a rainy day. Extra props because we were able to order a half vegan half meaty pizza and nobody claimed, «we can’t do that» like I am used to. The delivery min is $ 20 which isn’t clearly advertised. Our pizza fell just short of that so we had to upgrade. A tad deceiving(considering you pay a delivery fee anyway) but it just meant we had leftovers and I love a good slice of pizza for breakfast! Haha. Special shoutout to the Tuscan Mushroom pizza pie. It isn’t often that I get to have garlic cream sauce on my pizza and luckily for me Z-Pizza’s is vegan! And those carmelized onions? NOM.

It was my first time ordering from here. I live right across the street and wanted to try it. Unilocal has a check in for $ 5 off of $ 20, so I ordered a large pizza. It was ready in 10 minutes! Very quick which was great because my boyfriend and I were starving. When we came to pick up the pizza our total came to $ 19.98, 2 cents short of the $ 20 needed for the discount. The manager was very nice and gave us the discount anyways! It came to $ 14.58! SUPERCHEAP! The pizza was delicious(I loved the crust) and I was VERY pleased to find out they serve pizza by the slice ALLDAYLONG!
