Out Lock Locksmith

I’ve used Out Lock on two occasions. The first was when we put our house on the market in March 2016 and received a call from a particularly rude realtor, saying our key was sticking and getting into the house for her showing was «nearly impossible.» We never had issues with that lock but I wanted to avoid additional calls like that since there were several showings lined up over the next two days. I went to Unilocal,choose Eli based on his positive reviews, and he was at our house within the hour. Apparently, two of the tumblers in the lock weren’t functioning at 100% so, while the key did work, it could be tricky to unlock the door if the key was inserted quickly/​with force. Who knew.
After such a positive first impression, I called Eli again when we purchased a new home and wanted all the locks changed. I called him midday and he came over in the late afternoon. He rekeyed three doors in approx. 30 minutes and provided recommendations on how we could lock our side gate but still provide access to our gardener and pool guy. $ 100 for everything and he was on his way.

My infant accidentally locked himself in the room early in the morning. It was definitely not within the usual business hours but he responded promptly in a professional manner and hustled over. Fortunately my kid somehow unlocked the door prior to him arriving. He refused payment for his time. What a great guy. I would highly recommend.

This review is long overdue. We moved into our house last month and we needed to change our locks. We are first time home owners and were completely overwhelmed on how the process works. I called Eli and explained I had 4 doors that needed the locks to be changed and he gave me a quote over the phone.
When Eli arrived he realized there was more work to be done than just 4 locks. He fixed the door frames, all locks involved with the doors and then honored his quote. He did a fantastic job and went far and above. In addition to being thorough, he was prompt and efficient. I would highly recommend his services.

After calling 3 other locksmiths for estimates (they were located closer to my home in Citrus Heights) and getting answering machines, I called Out Lock and to my delight someone actually answered the phone! Bottom line — competitive pricing, great availability, a guy who knows his stuff and won’t sell you something you don’t need. I wasn’t sure if my locks needed to be rekeyed or replaced and he gave me an honest evaluation, including assessing the hardware. Eli was on time and worked efficiently and — for those who aren’t aware that there is a licensing agency for locksmiths in California — he is licensed by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services.

Eli came and replaced two locks to my home within 10 – 15 min after arriving. Bada bing, bada boom He was quick, professional, and even gave me a $ 15 discount for being a little late, but its all good. I highly recommend this Locksmith.

Called Outlock because I had a door that my key stopped working in… Found Outlock on Unilocal and all the review were positive. He was there within 30 minutes and got my lock working. Price was really reasonable too. He gave me good information about the age of my locks, but didn’t push for replacement until it was really a problem. A really good experience!

I recently moved and needed my locks re-​keyed… After a quick Unilocal search I decided on Out Lock. Eli was able to come the same day… He re-​keyed all the locks (including the 2 I didn’t know were there) quickly with no mess. He was very personable and friendly. He gave me a break on the 2 locks I didn’t realize were there (I didn’t have a key to the cellar). I would use him again in a heartbeat!

Out Lock Locksmith should get 6 stars! I called him b/​c my 66 yr old mother locked herself out of her house and was going to get a 16 ft ladder to climb 12 ft to an open window on the 2^nd floor! I told her to call a lock smith rather than risk her life. She said it would take too long and cost too much. I called Out Lock Locksmith and he was able to get there within 15 minutes. Plus his fee was ¹⁄₃ of the cost we thought it would be. I’m so grateful there are great businesses still out there. I would use them for any lock service I needed.

Could not recommend Eli and Out Lock Locksmith more. He is on-​time, courteous and efficient. We had to evict a tenant for failure to pay rent and Eli changed all the locks for us. The Sherriff’s Deputy that was assisting knew Eli and told me that he is a «great and honest guy». What better character reference than that! I would definitely feel comfortable recommending Eli to anyone and while I hope I never need him again would not hesitate to use him!

Very happy with Eli’s service. Found him on Unilocal and with all the great reviews did not hesitate to call and make an appointment. He was on time and did a great job on all the locks we needed replacing. He even installed chain locks on 3 doors for us and took it upon himself to reinforce other components of our locks without me even asking (I wouldn’t have even known to ask!). I would trust him again if ever I needed a locksmith. And I highly recommend his services to you.

Tremendous, fast and friendly service! We had the misfortune of locking our keys in our car as we went in to shop Sam’s Club. A quick browse through Unilocal and we found «Out Lock Locksmith»…a quick call and it seemed the service tech was there in no time! By the time I’d gone in to order a cake and to pick up some office supplies… in came my husband with our keys. I cannot recommend these folks highly enough… if you need a quick rescue… these are the guys to call!

I was told politely at home depot that they were unable to do «do not duplicate» but suggested that only professional locksmiths could preform this. Which is when I found Eli. I Was never asked for any sort of documentation (to «prove it») though I have it available easily upon request. After hanging up frustrated, being treated as an inconvience, I went to folsom lock and key and the process went smoothly without any attitude– which I guess is why they have been in business since 1962 (over 50 years). I have learned my lesson. I’ll keep it local from now on.
